Conceptual illustrator Jerad S. Marantz updated his website yesterday with some amazing concept art for Jonathan Liebesman's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles live-action film. Hit the jump to see more unused designs for Master Splinter, Leonardo, Raphael and Donatello.
Today, we have new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles concept art that was created by Jerad S. Marantz. The images feature alternate designs for Master Splinter and Leonardo, Raphael and Donatello. What's especially interesting is that his version of the Turtles were less bulky than the final versions. Update! Some images were removed at the request of the artist.
The city needs heroes. Darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder and his evil Foot Clan have an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. The future is grim until four unlikely outcast brothers rise from the sewers and discover their destiny as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Turtles must work with fearless reporter April and her wise-cracking cameraman Vern Fenwick to save the city and unravel Shredder’s diabolical plan.
