Cameras have started rolling on The Flash, so the chances of Cyborg being added to the mix now seems unlikely. Despite that, actor Ray Fisher revealed that he'd be open to returning...on one condition.

Cyborg has been part of The Flash movie from the start, and despite Ray Fisher's very public falling out with Warner Bros., the Zack Snyder's Justice League star was offered the chance to return as Victor Stone. Unfortunately, his feelings about the conduct of DC Films boss Walter Hamada (and possible disagreements over money) ensured the hero's supporting role was scrapped.

Cameras are now rolling on Andy Muschietti's take on the Scarlet Speedster in London, and it seems likely that Cyborg has been completely written out of the movie in recent months. Despite that, Fisher has again admitted that he would be open to reprising the role...providing Hamada issues a public apology.

"I don't really expect anything, right? Particularly dealing with large corporations," Fisher said regarding his possible DCEU return at Justice Con over the weekend. "They will oftentimes find a way to defy whatever expectation you may have. But, I think where we could start is an acknowledgement and an apology of what is clearly, publicly known to be an untruth. Then, we can see where it goes from there."

Following yesterday's announcement about The Flash commencing production, the actor took to Twitter to again hint that he would be willing to return as Cyborg once Hamada apologises. Considering the fact that both Hamada and the studio have insisted that he conducted himself in a reasonable and acceptable manner during that big Justice League investigation, it's highly unlikely to happen.

Instead, Warner Bros. will likely move on from this iteration of Cyborg, either leaving the spotlight on Joivan Wade's version in Doom Patrol or recasting the hero for the big screen somewhere down the line. As for The Flash, with multiple versions of Batman (and even Supergirl) set to appear, it can probably manage without Victor Stone.

Yeah good luck with that. I don't think Walter Hamada is going to apologize. Anyway, still skeptical of Ezra as Barry Allen. I like him more in the Snyder Cut JL than I did in the one that came out in the theaters. He didn't act like a panzy/wimp as much and showed how powerful/useful he can be. Still kind of wish they had someone else playing as Barry Allen. Hope Cyborg does make in the movie somehow but I doubt it.

He says this because he knows they’ll never do it... so he’ll never have to ACTUALLY go back on what he said.

@RageDriver2401 - If only Marvel could say the same thing to Jon Watts about Spider-man...

@Amuro - Nothing personal against Watts but I just don't think he was up to the task of directing the Spider-man movies considering how disastrous Far From Good turned out to be (one of the worst comic book movies of the past decade in my opinion). And now we're talking about a big cross-over event between three franchises (I would have far preferred Sam Raimi in the director's seat).

Still, to his credit, Homecoming was fine.

@QuiGonsGhost - there isn't enough money on the planet that's worth dealing with Ray drama on another movie.

Interesting wording.

Hamada: ok ray. Everyone, I'd like to announce that Ray fisher is going to apologize to those involved in the justice league investigation. Ray?

It's a shame Fisher turned out to be a shameless attention whore because I actually liked his performance as Cyborg.
