Back in January of 2018, it was announced that Game Night directors and Spider-Man: Homecoming writers John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein were in negotiations to helm The Flash (then known as "Flashpoint") for Warner Bros.

Not long after we got word that the duo had left the project due to "creative differences," and there were reports that star Ezra Miller couldn't get on board with the filmmakers vision for the movie.

Yesterday, video footage surfaced online showing Miller grabbing a female fan by the throat and dragging her to the ground. Later that same day, Daley sent out the following Tweet.

Coincidence? Possibly - but many have taken this as a direct reference to Miller's behavior, and an indication that the actor's attitude may have played a role in Daley deciding to walk away from The Flash.

There's no way of knowing for sure and Daley hasn't followed up with any kind of clarification, but the timing and implications of his Tweet are definitely difficult to dismiss outright.

What do you guys think? Is Daley taking a shot at Miller, or are people reading too much into this? Be sure to share your thoughts in the comments down below.

So Warner Bros seemed to have got a win with Ezra after the cameo and then this... he has to go now.

Heck now the film universe can connect with movie just have WB Flash do some time changing stuff and be in the movie world with Patterson and WW erasing Ezra

@Knightrider - Shouldn't that Crisis cameo give him INFINITE points, though?

@RageDriver2401 - that is the STUPIDEST looking running style I've ever seen. Adam West running in Batman66 looked cooler than this.

@GreedoSarducci - Apparently that's AFTER they CG'd his legs to make it look better because he legit can't run. How is proper running form not the first prerequisite for playing the Flash?

@LongMayHeReign - cause he did that dumbass speed skating bs trying to be too artsy. It’s a superhero movie not everything needs to be some tour de force performance

You all should be thanking Ezra. Quarantine has become boring as it is.
