@aresww3 - agree, it feels like the future of the franchise is going to depend on nostalgia rather than setting up a new future. It's like Luke showing up in Mandalorian or in future Star Wars films like just start fresh and leave an ambiguous future

@aresww3 - I agree. I love Keaton, he's a great actor. But clinging to a version of Batman from 1989 just reinforces the perception that WB/ DC is desperate and clueless about the future of the cinematic DCU.

@dracula - in seriousness, considering the possibility of nick cage as the burtonverse superman, I could see van damme as that version of aquaman.

Also in today's news, Josh Wilding reports news that he's already reported in an effort to increase viewership counts so he can keep aggressively hiding behind a keyboard.

@duncboy - I just recently came back to this site after nearly a year, due to boredom with covid+winter, and was for some reason still shocked he was writing for this site...

However one positive thing I can say is that as of the last few weeks of being back and seeing articles I feel like he doesn’t do them as often and I’m seeing other writers beating him to the actual stories on here.

@Devilman - I think it’s because a lot of users stopped clicking on his articles.
