Warner Bros. Reportedly Waiting To See How JUSTICE LEAGUE Does Before Making FLASHPOINT

Jeffrey Dean Morgan may have been dropping hints about playing the Thomas Wayne version of Batman in Flashpoint but a new rumour points to the brakes having been put on the highly anticipated movie. In the video below, Variety reporter Justin Kroll reveals that Warner Bros. has slowed down on finding a director for Flashpoint as they're waiting to see how moviegoers respond to Justice League.

Those remarks come around the 28:02 mark and they make a lot of sense. Flashpoint will be a big budget movie which probably brings the Justice League back together and the studio isn't going to want to spend money on that if the upcoming superhero ensemble is a critical and commercial flop.

Chances are Warner Bros. is waiting to pull the trigger on a long list of movies based on how well Justice League performs so here's hoping it delivers both with critics and at the box office.
