Didn't he crap all over his role in/and Thor movies before? Around AOU?

@Alex35 - not really...maybe. he compared the difficulty in doing a lot of green screen after playing Mandela. The transition is jarring. He just did it in a way that came off kind of cold. You can interpret it a certain way.

TBF I’m pretty sure Hemsworth and Elba were about to throw in the towel.

Its a shame - as they could have given Hiemdall more to do in the MCU as i definitely feel like they didnt use the character well and given what relative box office draw Idris has...they definitely dropped the ball. This is one of my very very gripes with the MCU - that they didnt utilise Heimdall OR Idris to better effect. I hope if they do bring him back...they do better.

@OptimusGrime - How do you expect them to give Hiemdall more to do when before Thor 3 even Thor had nothing much to do except be the hot muscle guy? His different layers started showing in Ragnarok and carried well over into IW and Endgame.

@DwightKGroot - Fair point.. but thats why overall the Thor films could have been so much better. But they had a lot of characters to play with i suppose. Are you talking about layers for thor or heimdall. For heimdall....ragnarok was a good outing for the character and i hope they find someway to bring him back so he can be utlized for more badassery. His powers are sick and could come in hella handy

He could be in the Loki show. Part of me wouldn’t be surprised if he showed up. Marvel been there on some surprising stuff lately.

Also, he is in Valhalla right now.

Only way i can see Thor 4 working is if Thor journeys through the Asgardian afterlife (including Valhalla and Hel) meeting those he has lost along the way as he questions if he should take leadership of Asgard back. In essence we'd follow Thor on a soul searching quest while Jane Foster's Thor takes up the mantle and tries to slow down Cul Borson in the meantime as he causes havoc in the Nine Realms on the way to New Asgard.

Cul Borson (Serpent) would need to be the main villain. He'd be an adaptation of the Midgard Serpent - where he'd be the mind and skills while his animalistic side is the classic serpentine beast. He'd also be more worthy of the throne, being the older brother of Thor.

If Marvel keep attracting people Elba and Portman back y'all are going to run out of narratives with the quickness

The Thor franchise was doody before Waititi directed Ragnarok. That’s the only narrative here 💁🏼‍♂️

I like how I said "y'all" when vaguely referencing an undefined-yet-always-eager group of people who are always searching for something MCU related to bitch about and it look you exactly one hour to tell on yourself

Dude, just stop

I laid a basic, harmless, obvious trap for no one in particular and you walked into it. No mix of gifs, memes, emojis or references to blowjobs is going to change how hilariously easy and predictable (and boring) you guys have gotten. It's done. Deposit 2 quarters and play better next time.

I hope in the future, when they reboot the MCU - they do so with live action TV series or something. A lot of stories, characters, etc... should have been given more focus than they got.

Tons of missed opportunities. Thor Ragnarok is the most notable example - killing off the Warriors Three with Thor acknowledging none of it.

MCU has wasted a lot of story options for the sake of rushing to the next big crossover film - which makes sense, but is disappointing.

@Scarilian - They’re not ever going to reboot the biggest film franchise of all-time as a TV series. Get real.

Idris has been criminally wasted in the MCU as Heimdall, I’d rather see him cast as a different character. Maybe a mo-cap character, that way he’ll look different than Heimdall did, plus, we already know Idris can change his accent. You’ve got an A-List actor who can carry a film by himself currently playing a supporting character that rarely gets any screen time, he deserves better.
