THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER - Sif Actress Jaimie Alexander Has Arrived In Australia Ready To Start Shooting

There have been some pretty reliable rumblings that Jaimie Alexander is returning as Sif in Taika Waititi's Thor: Love and Thunder, and the actress has now confirmed that she's ready to start shooting...

Thor: Love and Thunder has assembled an incredible cast, with the Guardians of the Galaxy showing up to the party, and Christian Bale taking on the role of the villainous Gorr the God Butcher. There are some huge returns too, though, with Natalie Portman coming back as Jane Foster (transforming into the Mighty Thor in the process), and Jaimie Alexander now seemingly confirmed to play Lady Sif.

The actress took on that role in Thor and Thor: The Dark World, but she's been M.I.A. ever since paying The Collector a visit alongside Volstagg in the latter movie's post-credits scene.

Well, Alexander has now landed in Australia to start shooting her role in the Marvel Studios movie, and this is bound to get fans even more excited. Despite some hints that Sif had romantic feelings for the God of Thunder, many are hoping she ends up connecting on a romantic level with Valkyrie.

After all, the new King of Asgard is on the hunt for her Queen, and who better than this badass warrior?

Regardless, we never got an explanation for Sif's absence in Thor: Ragnarok, so it'll be interesting to learn what she's been up to, and how her return could factor into this battle against Gorr the God Butcher.
