If they go the cancer route, which I think they may, I hope we get a shot of this

They could so easily tie her exposure to the aether into the cancer storyline. Could make for a beautiful story that adds some weight/consequence to the MCU and the Infinity Stones even after they're gone.

I think the visual of both them on screen together will be amazing but what hammer? Did Cap forget to take it back?

@MyCoolYoung - I assume Cap brought back the hammer to Asgard in the 2013 timeline, right?
MyCoolYoung
MyCoolYoung - 9/25/2019, 8:59 AM
@Feralwookiee - that part was sarcasm but yeah he had the hammer when he went into the quantum realm so it's assumed it's in its right timeline

"the critically panned Thor: The Dark World."

Excuse me.

67% on Rotten Tomatoes with an average rating of 6.22/10, which is POSITIVE by their standards.

54 on Metacritic which is MIXED by their standards.

This article needs to be edited.

@cfscorpio - Oh, let's not DCEU this. It was an okay movie, and it got at least some panning.

Or pans thrown at it.

Or placed in a pan.

Or whatever that expression means.

@cfscorpio - I actually really liked Thor the Dark World I wish they would've did more with Malekith though i feel like Christopher Eccleston was under used.

Ehh, her disdain for the MCU and this new admiration for the MCU is cringe worthy. Pfff.

Should have gone with another actress.

@sneakybastard - 100% agree.

I used to love Portman, but she's become very snobby about films and has insulted a lot of people she has worked with. I would rather see someone who either is positive about the source material, or is better about pretending to be.

Portman seems to have only come back because of how much money Marvel ended up making.

@sneakybastard - What distain? Point me to these comments?

That entire discourse was fomented on websites like this one.

@PsychoticSpaceRaccoon - Dude check out her documented reactions to Star Wars over the years. Add in the MCU etc. and you will find your answer.

@sneakybastard - but those comments are about Star Wars. I can't just "insert MCU" and that is that.

Portman's big issue with the MCU was Patty Jenkins not staying on for Thor 2 . Even Patty has said its not fault of Marvel's as they were ready to give her the keys but some thing just don't work out.

@BlackBeltJones - I am not going to go back to search the internet for various articles on NP just to please your ego. But you are free to my friend.

@BlackBeltJones - Okay,I accepted your challenge my friend. I did do a little bit of research on the subject and I will provide two sources/links for her and Thor 2. But I do not want to spend hours looking for more years old links for good and credible sources for a very dated issue. They tend to be hard to find.

These links do not have her stating she hates Marvel but they do tell of her level of commitment and liking to the source material and for Marvel. If somebody else wants to look for more about this issue/s for Thor 2 or even Thor 1, go for it.

Also, during my article searching I found out and learned that Jane Foster suited up as Thor twice, first in 1978. Pretty cool find if I do say so myself.

Finally, you can never go wrong with De Niro.

Portman is very critical of the films she was in for Marvel.

While I'll concede that she starred in the weaker films, maybe that wasn't a coincidence.

Maybe, chemo + ether, we'll get a little bit of the bad before she goes good?
