I want Thor to learn to leave Jane for good in this movie.

@JustALurker - Thor leaves Jane so Jane and that non-Vlakyrie can "scissor".

Never, ever would I have expected to read an article about Dio on here. What a fantastic choice for an artist let alone a great song! Love that Marvel (and Taika) are going with some great music choices for these movies!

Here's to the man, the myth, the legend, RIP Ronnie! Heavy metal wouldn't have been the same without Dio, this man is literally responsible for popularizing/introducing to the music scene the metal horns/sign of the horns hand gesture that represents the metal community.

@HeavyMetal4Life - Yo, off-topic. There was a baking contest at my art school. My mom entered and I ended up meeting the secretary's daughter. She told me Iron Maiden and Metallica were her favorites. In particular, the track "Run to the Hills". Just wanted to know your thoughts.

HeavyMetal4Life - 3/9/2020, 7:17 PM
@MCUKnight11 - haha, that's awesome bro! Thanks for sharing :-) Well you probably know that Maiden is my all time favorite band, and Run to the Hills is a terrific track!

@HeavyMetal4Life - Is it your favorite track from them?

@MCUKnight11 - no, Wasted Years is my favorite Maiden track (and my favorite song period).

@HeavyMetal4Life - Thoughts on Christian Bale casting?
HeavyMetal4Life
HeavyMetal4Life - 3/9/2020, 7:35 PM
@MCUKnight11 - freaking awesome casting, pretty impressive that Marvel landed him. Can't wait to see what he brings to the table, especially since its supposed to be a villainous role.

@HeavyMetal4Life - Dio is a hint at who Bale is going to be.

The Champion, Tryco Slatterus. An Elder of the Universe, like The Collector and Gamemaster.

@HeavyMetal4Life - Same. Also, the BW trailer was amazing. Taskmaster shaping up to be one of the best MCU villains. Let's hope this trend continues, because it's been quiet on the MCU news front.
HeavyMetal4Life
HeavyMetal4Life - 3/9/2020, 7:57 PM
@MCUKnight11 - bro, that BW trailer was freaking awesome. And yeah, Taskmaster is looking to be one of the best, such a badass. Hoping that he survives this film and appears in other films (or shows) down the road. And yeah, been pretty quiet around here for the MCU for a while.

@HeavyMetal4Life - Surprised we haven't heard about DS 2, shang-chi, or Spidey 3 casting, especially for Nightmare and Kraven.
HeavyMetal4Life
HeavyMetal4Life - 3/9/2020, 8:04 PM
@MCUKnight11 - I think the director shake up with DS 2 may have slowed down some news. We don't even have Raimi 100% confirmed yet for that film. A bit surprised we don't know more about The Eternals yet.

@HeavyMetal4Life - Also, thoughts on Raimi taking over DS 2 and his Spidey trilogy?
HeavyMetal4Life
HeavyMetal4Life - 3/9/2020, 8:13 PM
@MCUKnight11 - I think Raimi is a great choice to replace Derrickson, big fan of his Evil Dead works as well as his Spidey films. My hope is that if he is being brought aboard, Marvel will allow him to utilize his horror background effectively.
MCUKnight11
MCUKnight11 - 3/9/2020, 8:19 PM
@HeavyMetal4Life - I like the first 2 but thought the third one was a mess. If anyone can tackle pg-13 horror, it's him.
HeavyMetal4Life
HeavyMetal4Life - 3/9/2020, 8:23 PM
@MCUKnight11 - The 2nd is obviously a classic, probably my favorite Spidey film so far even though I think Tom Holland is the best Peter/Spidey. The first film hasn't aged quite as well, but Willem Dafoe was awesome as Goblin and there are some great borderline horror moments with him (especially the fight with Spidey, hoping to see stuff like that in DS2). I actually enjoy the third film. Its not perfect and has a number of issues, but there were a lot of moments I liked.
MCUKnight11
MCUKnight11 - 3/9/2020, 8:28 PM
@HeavyMetal4Life - FFH is my personal favorite, but 2 deserves it's ranking among the best. Agreed about Tom Holland being the best. His heart was in the right place but unfortunate studio interference stopped it from reaching the greatness of the first 2 and being one of the best CBM trilogies.
HeavyMetal4Life
HeavyMetal4Life - 3/9/2020, 8:30 PM
@MCUKnight11 - yes, definitely true regarding S3.

I need to rewatch FFH again. The second half of that movie is freaking awesome, love Jake's Mysterio so much. But the first half of the movie was a bit too slow for my tastes and just kind of boring at times. Though I did like it better than Homecoming.
GreedoSarducci
GreedoSarducci - 3/10/2020, 12:59 AM
@HeavyMetal4Life - Wasted Years is awesome but my all-time favorite Maiden track is Two Minutes To Midnight:

Powerslave has always been my #1 album from them, probably because it was my first Maiden concert and I was totally blown away at the very impressionable age of 15. Ah, the memories...
GreedoSarducci
GreedoSarducci - 3/10/2020, 1:05 AM
@HeavyMetal4Life - ever heard the version by Puddles Pity Party?

I've recently started rehearsing an acoustic duo and we're doing this version of the song.

As some are saying he might be Gorr The God Butcher

HeavyMetal4Life
HeavyMetal4Life - 3/10/2020, 8:10 AM
@GreedoSarducci - 2 Minutes to Midnight is a freaking awesome song, another great from them, one of many! And Powerslave is a fantastic album, one of my favorites from them. Its really tough for me to choose an all time favorite album from them, they have so many great albums, but it would probably be a toss between Number of the Beast, Powerslave or Somewhere in Time. I sometimes say Live After Death is my favorite, even though its a live album, just because it has so many of their greats on one album. I've seen them live like 5 or 6 times.
HeavyMetal4Life
HeavyMetal4Life - 3/10/2020, 8:15 AM
@GreedoSarducci - and no, never heard of that version by Puddles, very interesting! I do have a bit of a soft spot for acoustic songs from metal artists.
