THOR: THE DARK WORLD Concept Art Shows Off Alternate Designs For Algrim, Kurse, And The Dark Elves

In this latest round of Thor: The Dark World concept art, we get to see some pretty terrifying alternate takes on Algrim/Kurse and Malekith's evil army of Dark Elves! Hit the jump to check them out...

Marvel Studios has a stellar track record but many fans agree that they stumbled somewhat with Thor: The Dark World back in 2013. Despite that, the Alan Taylor helmed sequel has a score of 66% on Rotten Tomatoes and it grossed over $644 million at the worldwide box office.

Regardless of whether you loved or hated the movie, we're now taking a look at some of the artwork which was used to bring Asgard and its many inhabitants to life after Kenneth Branagh's first instalment (mostly) kept things grounded here on Midgard.

In this latest round of artwork from Thor: The Dark World, we take a look at alternate designs for Algrim, Kurse, and the Dark Elves. Algrim and Kurse are obviously one and the same but they're also very different due to the transformation the villain goes through. As for the Dark Elves, it turns out that they could have looked way cooler!
