It's been a while since we've heard anything Darryl, but Thor's old roommate has now wished The God of Thunder a happy birthday over Twitter, revealing that he survived Thanos' "Snapture" in the process...

Last time we saw Darryl, he was adjusting to life with The Grandmaster as his new roommate, but the affable Aussie clearly hasn't forgotten about his old pal Thor.

Darryl, a.k.a. actor Daley Pearson, Tweeted out a happy birthday to The God of Thunder - who shares his name day with Chris Hemsworth, funnily enough - explaining that he hasn't been in touch because although he survived "The Snap" many of his coworkers didn't, meaning he now has to work Sundays.

Better to have ceased to exist!

Will Thor respond? We'll have to wait and see, but let's hope this isn't the last we see of Darryl either way.

@JonC - But seriously, if A4 is not at all what people are expecting... i am hoping the un-snap or whatever they do alters the timeline... it is a perfect way to introduce the X-men and FF as having existed alongside the Avengers the whole time... Marvel can go in and add them into old shots thereby changing the outcomes of prior movies to make the future a whole new version...

OR

as an alternative... Tony goes back and prevents the Hydra infiltration that happened to SHIELD... I mean what else better can you do with time manipulation! No Hydra means also a whole new timeline and series of events and outcomes.

Ooooh, the possibilities. Bring it on Marvel!

@JonC - I'm still on the time displacement theory where they only bring characters back by replacing the dead with different time period versions that way the characters we know deaths still matter.

I say if we dont bring back the Marvel One Shots just have different MCU characters be Darryls roommate, have Taika direct all the shorts, and the running joke could be Daryll wanting Thor to be his roommate again because everyone else is either nuts or too dangerous!!!
