PREACHER Season 3 Teaser Assembles The Cast; Gives Us A First Glimpse Of Allfather D’Aronique

IGN has debuted the first footage from the upcoming third season of AMC's Preacher.

The brief teaser (well, it's really more like a motion poster) features Jesse, Tulip, Cassidy and pretty much ever major and supporting character we've met so far, as well as some of the new - and very unpleasant - faces that'll be introduced during this new batch of episodes.

We got a first look at Gran'ma and Jody last week, and here we see the latter's chicken-[frick]ing pal TC, and the grotesque leader of The Grail. If you've read the comics you'll know that Allfather D’Aronique is not a very nice man. In fact, you might even say he makes Herr Starr seem magnanimous by comparison.

Tony winner Betty Buckley (Supergirl, Split) joins the cast as a series regular playing “Gran’ma,” a spiritist with true powers, who can cast spells and even bring back the dead (for a price). Pay the fee or pay with your soul to feed Gran’ma’s thirst for eternal youth. She is weathered, tough, and mean, but also intelligent beyond measure. She’s Jesse’s only living family and she loves him.

Colin Cunningham (Falling Skies) plays “TC,” a man born of the bayou and the loyal caretaker and soldier for Gran’ma. Weaselly and wiry, he’ll gladly tell you about his perversions whether you ask him or not. While he seems like the friendliest guy you’ll ever meet, don’t make the mistake of turning your back on him.

Jeremy Childs (The Last Castle, Nashville) is “Jody.” Massive and intimidating, Jody is the enforcer for Gran’ma and the only man Jesse’s never beaten in a fight. He’s nobody’s fool, and not someone to cross.

Liz McGeever (Star, Nashville) will play “Christina.” Capable and efficient, Christina has a face that lures customers in for her family business. Christina hides it well, but she hates her job and has dreams and aspirations outside of her current life – but suffers to protect her child.

I would much prefer a full trailer but this was pretty cool. Not to big on having the rap playing in the back. Also you guys' thoughts of the show as a whole. Season 1 was good. Season 2 was great except for the middle portion of the series I thought was a lot of filler for me. Also I want a stronger arc for Tullip. All the stuff with Heir Starr was great and his two flunkies. In short, really looking forward for this season.

Preacher is a really good show, I havent laugh so loud since the hotel room part with the seraphin respawning over and over again in season 1

Sources are saying Deadpool 2 is tracking at a 52M opening day (including 18.6 from Previews) is that good or Bad? I remember the first one made like 48M with 12M Previews it seems it could’ve been a bigger number

This show doesn't even come close to the comics, but it's entertaining, i'll give you that.

Still...it ain't got shit on Legion tho. :P

I read all the graphic novels at the start of the year. The show and novels are very very different and both great in different ways. Looking forward to season 3. I think what I like about the novels is that Jessie hardly uses his power, he's just himself which I feel is better for his character but love them bother either way :D
