Don't think it'll be Morgan. Though we've known him since the first season and Rick has a connection to him, he's still a newbie to the rest of the group so they're not going to be as devastated by his death as they would if it were Daryl or Glenn etc. If not either of those 2, my guess is Abraham.

No way it's morgan, they know Glenn was the fan favorite in the comic...any less for the show would ruin the character's introduction. And after the clusterf**k that was the Governor arc they want to make a statement.

I say Daryl, he's the fan favorite of the show, it makes the same statement as in the comic. And viewers of the show get a taste of what readers experience on a regular basis. No one is safe, and Daryl's death would drive home that point...anyone less than Glenn or Daryl would be a waste, and Steven Yeun just signed a contract extension.

@RorMachine I think it's going to be Maggie. Glenn would be too obvious and it would give them the opportunity for him to scream "Maggie" like in the comics. It would definitely have more shock value than any character since she's pregnant.

They already teased Glenn getting hit by a baseball bat but was rescued and him being *dead* but probably still being alive and rescued (maybe by jesus?) anyway making negan kill glenn doesn't provide a shock factor anymore. It's probably going to be Daryl if the show creators have the balls to end the fan fav character that is.

I think it's going to be Morgan. That's why he's been around so much this season so they can kill him and get that wow factor with out killing fan favorite Daryl. And it can't be Glenn cause they wouldn't do what they did with Beth again.

The trade route comes into play
Negan comes in at the end of the season.

@picoplaya the back 8 is going to be about the Hilltop. Jesus is going to get introduced (maybe in the midseason finale), Dwight will be back with a burnt face. Jeffrey Dean Morgan has been filming the season finale (ep 16) with the rest of the cast since last week. so he's going to be meeting Rick's group and whoever he's bashing in head and this will probably leave the season with a cliffhanger til next October.

The more I think about this the more I think it will be Daryl then that will push Carol to become leader of the Hilltop people. Just switch her out with Maggie.

Abraham's gonna die in the midseason finale and Morgan will sacrifice himself by Lucille for Rick to help him become a better person, just as Eastman did for Morgan.

@DeathAdder Morgan may be a pacifist but you're forgetting one of the key things Eastman said " I will not allow you to kill me" Morgan isn't a pacifist per sey he's just against killing. But he will beat someone's ass with a quickness.

I'm excited. Btw it's not gonna be Maggie. The writers were too pussified to kill Glenn like that so what makes you think they will kill a Pregnant woman in such a brutal fashion? It's gonna be Darryl and that a going to get one hell of a reaction from fans.
