THE WALKING DEAD: Robert Kirkman On Why Changes From The Comics Are A Good Thing

The creator of the comic and exec producer on the show lets us know what to expect from future episodes, how they will differ from the comics, and when we can expect to see Michonne and The Governer...

I think most of us can agree that The Walking Dead is a pretty good/great show, but there are those that are upset at the deviations made to the comics on which it is based. For example, certain characters have already died in the comic timeline that are still alive in the show and vice versa. The survivors are also on Herchel's farm a LOT longer than anyone expected. But are these changes for the best? Robert Kirkman thinks so, and explains why in the below video interview with IGN. He also touches on the Shane/Rick conflict, and if and when we can expect to see fan favorite characters like The Governer and Michonne. Spoiler warning, we can..at some point!
