ARROW Season 2 Has A Funeral Scene Coming Up

ARROW Season 2 Has A Funeral Scene Coming Up

Set photos from extras working on Arrow episode 21 are spreading across the internet like wildfire, causing fans of The CW superhero drama to fear for the safety of their favorite characters.

There's been quite a few Instagram selfies popping up from Arrow extras filming episode 21.  Reportedly, these extras were needed for a funeral scene being shot in that episode.  The Arrow faithful are freking out across twitter, FB and tumblr about who could be the fallen character.  At this point, the only safe person is probably Oliver (Stephen Amell) himself.  In Slade Wilson's (Manu Bennett) quest for revenge, he's targeting the entire Queen family, as well as Arrow's allies, Black Canary|Sara Lance (Caity Lotz), Roy Harper (Colton Haynes), Felicity Smoak(Emily Bett Rickards) and Diggle (David Ramsey).

Still, until we get further details, exercise a bit of caution.  This show has been known to play fast and loose with the concept of death and more than one character who was assummed dead has been revealed to still be alive.  Last night's episode was #17 of season 2, so we're about four episodes away from the funeral scene playing out on The CW.  If the funeral is indeed for one of Slade's targets, who do you think is the most likely candidate?

"After a violent shipwreck, billionaire playboy Oliver Queen was missing and presumed dead for five years before being discovered alive on a remote island in the Pacific. When he returns home to Starling City, his devoted mother Moira, much-beloved sister Thea, and best friend Tommy welcome him home, but they sense Oliver has been changed by his ordeal on the island. While Oliver hides the truth about the man he’s become, he desperately wants to make amends for the actions he took as the boy he was. Most particularly, he seeks reconciliation with his former girlfriend, Laurel Lance. As Oliver reconnects with those closest to him, he secretly creates the persona of Arrow – a vigilante – to right the wrongs of his family, fight the ills of society, and restore Starling City to its former glory. By day, Oliver plays the role of a wealthy, carefree and careless philanderer he used to be – flanked by his devoted chauffeur/bodyguard, John Diggle – while carefully concealing the secret identity he turns to under cover of darkness. However, Laurel’s father, Detective Quentin Lance, is determined to arrest the vigilante operating in his city. Meanwhile, Oliver’s own mother, Moira, knows much more about the deadly shipwreck than she has let on – and is more ruthless than he could ever imagine."
