ARROW Star David Ramsey Dreams Of The Impossible: Ben Affleck's BATMAN On The CW

It never hurts to dream, does it? During a panel at Wizard World Comic-Con in New Orleans, Arrow star David Ramsey voiced his eagerness for Ben Affleck's Batman to make the jump to the small screen...

When it comes to the future of the CW's Arrow, it appears that one of its stars is an ambitious dreamer. David Ramsey, who plays John Diggle on the show, is really gunning for an appearance from Bruce Wayne/Batman. While seeing the Caped Crusader would be joyous for many fans, Ramsey revealed at a Wizard World Comic-Con panel in New Orleans that he'd love to see the dynamic between Bruce and Oliver Queen without the superhero outfits.

"I think for sure Bruce Wayne. Like, I would love to see these two billionaires; well, [asking co-star Stephen Amell] are you still a billionaire? Math is hard. You should be, you totally should be. I would love to see these two guys at a table together just like 'Sup Bruce', 'Sup Oliver'. You know what I mean? And duke it out, like no utility belt, no arrows, just hand to hand man."

As for who Ramsey would have play Batman? Well, the dream gets even bigger here. "Listen, I would love, honestly? I would love Ben [Affleck] to play Bruce Wayne. Yeah, have him on the show, why not join the universe? To me, that would be dope, just like, how big would that be?"

Unfortunately for Ramsey (and many fans) the odds of that ever coming to pass are infinitesimal, especially due to Warner Bros. plan to keep their television and film divisions separate. Given that another appearance by Tyler Hoechlin's Superman on the network is pretty much off the table, it's highly unlikely we'll see any version of the Dark Knight - much less Ben Affleck's - unless another ratings boost is needed.
