I think this season is my 3rd fav after 2 and 6. I’m very happy they broke up team arrow and am liking the father dynamic with Oliver. Felicity was almost bearable this last episode. Atleast she is less bi+chy

This was another solid, good episode, but not as good as last week's in my opinion. The biggest weakness to this episode was the continued split between the old and new team Arrow. It felt more forced than last week, and I really hated some of the comments that those three made either to Oliver or about him. And then to have Curtis essentially not tell his new team about something (won't spoil), lying to them, it pretty much undermined the whole reason they formed this new team. And yet they can move past that but they can't move past something old team Arrow already profusely apologized about. Rookies... I have a feeling Curtis is going to realize soon that its not so easy leading a team and that the choices Oliver made, while questionable at the time, were actually the right choices.

All that being said, there were some great moments in this episode, mostly revolving around OG Team Arrow and Oliver, Felicity, and his son; good family dynamics being fleshed out. Really liked him playing around with William in the beginning and then the conversation about coral, lol.

Believe it or not, the BEST scene of the episode was a speech Felicity gave to William. It was a great, well written and acted, as well as deep and insightful speech and I loved how they overplayed the entire scene with what was going on in the fight. It was a great way to not only connect with how William was feeling and address any concerns he had, but essentially get him on board with Oliver being the Arrow. Loved how Felicity knew the moves that Oliver was likely to make, and lol about covering William's eyes.

We learn a little bit more regarding Cayden's motives, but the plot thickens as to what really happened a year ago. Called it regarding Vigilante, knew that's what was going on. And correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like Oliver was wiring the money from the family fortune to Cayden, rather than the city's fortune.

@HeavyMetal4Life - I don't buy Cayden's motives. If something like that really happened it would have been mentioned a lot sooner.

Who's the real killer if it wasn't Green Arrow? Evil Oliver hadn't yet come from Earth-X and I'm pretty sure it wasn't Prometheus. This leaves Merlyn, Nyssa, Talia, Thea, and Roy as people who are skilled with a bow who were still alive last January. Unless it's someone we haven't seen before.

@GAThrawnIGF - No idea. Seems like something Merlyn would do though.

@GAThrawnIGF - I'd hazard a guess something to do with Roy, if I remember right he's coming back for a few episodes quite soon. Him being resposible would make sense for his all of a sudden appearance.

@NJBlitz - Maybe, but Roy uses red tipped arrows.

On a different note, wonder what brings Nyssa back from the dead. Glad she's still part of the show (as in not killed off), always like the actress and her character.

@GAThrawnIGF - It could be Ricardo Diaz. Maybe he did it to set up Oliver and get in with Cayden James so he could take over the drug trade or something.

I'd even go one further and say it could be Diggle. Adrian got him released at the time Owen was killed, it's possible he used the mind altering drugs on Diggle that Merlyn used on Thea and then gave him a target to kill. A crazy idea but it's possible.

Calling it now. Mystery archer is Shados look a like sister from season 3. She comes back blaming Oliver for her father and sisters death.

Another okay episode. Still a little dull. The teams are working better separate and thankfully this episode focused less on inter-team drama which has become the worst part of this season
