BLACK LIGHTNING Releases An Electrifying First Trailer For Its Final Season

The fourth and final season of The CW's Black Lightning will premiere this February, and the first footage shows that Jefferson Pierce is out for vengeance and he's not letting anything stop him.

Fans of The CW's Arrowverse were a bit caught of guard when the network revealed that the upcoming fourth season of Black Lightning would be its last. While not a ratings juggernaut, the show had a solid following and was viewed by many as the best series among the CW's many superhero offerings.

It looks as if the tragedy that took place in season 3 will play a big role in where viewers find Black Lightning at the start of season 4. Check out the first trailer below and let us know how you think this season will end. A lot of the show's fans are hoping that Jefferson takes down Tobias Whale once and for all.

The fourth and final season premieres Monday, February 8.

A spinoff starring Jordan Calloway's Khalil Payne aka Painkiller, is currently in development at the network so its possible that many of the supporting characters may move on to the new show.

Jefferson Pierce is a man wrestling with a secret. Nine years ago, Pierce was gifted with the superhuman power to harness and control electricity, which he used to keep his hometown streets safe as the masked vigilante Black Lightning. However, after too many nights with his life and his family on the line, he left his Super Hero days behind. Almost a decade later, Pierce’s crime-fighting days are long behind him…or so he thought. But with crime and corruption spreading like wildfire, Black Lightning returns — to save not only his family, but also the soul of his community.
