All it takes is one bad day to reduce the sanest man alive to lunacy. That's how far the world is from where I am. Just one bad day.

Next week's penultimate chapter of season four promises to be a big one as The Joker (Cameron Monaghan) issues a threat to the GCPD. Plus, it also looks like he'll be enlisting the Scarecrow (David W. Thompson) to give Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) a very transformative experience.

Could we see Bruce finally make the leap from young billionaire to the Bat Man before season's end? Only time will tell.

Watch the new promo for episode twenty-one, titled "One Bad Day," below:

A very underwhelming take on the Joker so far. Hopefully he'll have a little more oomph in these last two episodes, for the show's sake. This is their last chance to get in some last-minute viewers to sway Fox to give it another season. Season four has been a rather baffling series of missteps (bland villains, drawn-out storylines, downright bad storylines (Barbara), etc.)and it'd be a shame if this was yet another, especially after making everyone wait so long for it (which in itself was a mistake). It just might be too late to save it from cancellation at this point.

@TyrionLannister - It's the third most watched comic show and gets huge numbers on Netflix and Hulu, who each pay Fox around 30 million per season. I'm pretty sure there's no chance it's getting cancelled before it finishes its story.

@rabid - Well, we'll definitely know in the next couple of weeks. With them waiting this long to make a decision, it seems like it'll once again be close. I'm hoping it survives, but like I said below, I'd be surprised if it gets renewed.

@TyrionLannister - With them on the verge of turning Bruce into Batman .. they won't cancel it. They will want to see if ratings spike once he makes the leap .. which they obviously will

Looking forward to seeing more of Jeremiah as the Joker, thought the transition from Jerome to Jeremiah tonight was well done but really hope they go all in with Jeremiah in these final 2 episodes.

@dracula - Funny, I'd say things look a little different:

Season 1: Great
Season 2: Amazing
Season 3: Great
Season 4: What the hell were they thinking? Is it any wonder the ratings are the lowest they've ever been?

@TyrionLannister - what don’t you like about season 4, Jeremiah is different but just as good as Jerome. The ra’s stuff could be around more often but what we are getting is good

Every season has been an improvement, of course there are still things that big the shit out of me, but I'm still interested to watch every week. Unlike a few other cbm shows lol

In all seriousness, you really have to wonder what they were smoking in the writers' room when cooking up season four:

Someone really thought it'd be a good idea to do a Barbara/League of Shadows storyline.
Someone really thought it'd be a good idea to do a bland Poison Ivy Arc.
Someone really thought it'd be a good idea to have Sophia Falcone be a main villain.
Someone really thought it'd be a good idea to do a lame version of Professor Pyg.
Someone really thought it'd be a good idea to have Bruce be an a**hole for a few episodes.
Someone really thought it'd be a good idea to do a half-assed Solomon Grundy storyline.

Basically the one thing they'v managed to do right this season is having a few episodes focus on Jerome.... and then they kill him off, with their last shot at redemption being a Joker who appears far too subdued (though, again, this will hopefully change in these last two episodes).

This show was incredible for the first three seasons, but this season feels like they've just given up, or perhaps replaced the entire room with a bunch of novices.

This Joker is very different from the last, and they way they decided to present him was...quite interesting. :3
Kinda scary, but not by much.
