Marc Guggenheim has served as a producer and showrunner in the Arrowverse since the very beginning, but he's finally stepping behind the camera to direct the action with the May 26th episode of Legends of Tomorrow.

It looks like he's chosen well based on these officially released stills, as the series looks set to parody everything from Star Trek to Downton Abbey.

Titled "The One Where We're Trapped On TV" (a reference to Friends), the following synopsis has been released which confirms that the team find themselves, well, trapped on TV!

BREAKING FREE – After Charlie (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) does the one thing that goes against her nature when it comes to her sisters, she tries to protect the Legends by scattering them in different television shows. Of course, in true Legends style some can’t just be blissfully ignorant and happy but figure out a way to end up messing with the system. Caity Lotz, Jes Macallan, Dominic Purcell, Nick Zano, Tala Ashe, Olivia Swann and Matt Ryan also star. Marc Guggenheim directed the episode written by Grainne Godfree & James Eagan (#514). Original airdate 5/26/2020.

Umm.. wonder if the green top is a nod to the original Stat Trek tops actually being green but the camera tech back them made them look yellow.

@Steel86 - WTF are you talking about? Maybe you missed the production designs intentional use of primary colors for almost everything on the show. The only time Kirk wore green was when they switched it up with the green V neck.

@patgreyc - My man look it up. Because of the material the tops were made of it made them look yellow but the actual color is green. Same as the V neck. I found out cause I was curious why the V neck and his special occasion top were green but his Captain's top was yellow. Turns out they were all pose to be green.
