All bad things must come to an end...

Netflix has now released the official trailer for the sixth and final season for Lucifer, featuring plenty of show-stopping surprises including Luci (Tom Ellis) adjusting to his new role as God, a dangerous new villain, an imminent apocalypse, more therapy, a big musical number, an animated adventure, a shocking Chloe vs. Lucifer battle, and so much more.

The ten-episode swan song is set to debut exclusively on Netflix on September 10.

Along with series lead Tom Ellis (Lucifer Morningstar), the principal cast will return Lauren German (Det. Chloe Decker), Kevin Alejandro (Det. Dan Espinoza), D.B. Woodside (Amenadiel), Lesley-Ann Brandt (Mazikeen), Scarlett Estevez (Trixie Espinoza), Rachael Harris (Dr. Linda Martin), and Aimee Garcia (Ella Lopez).

The sixth and final season will also feature Scott Porter (Friday Night Lights; Speed Racer), Merrin Dungey (Brooklyn Nine-Nine; Alias), and Brianna Hildebrand (Deadpool; Deadpool 2) in recurring roles, with the latter presumably set to play the show's final big bad.

Series regular Kevin Alejandro directed two episodes this season - including the premiere and the show's penultimate hour - while D.B. Woodside helmed episode eight.

The episode titles are as follows:

  1. Nothing Ever Changes Around Here
  2. Buckets of Baggage
  3. Yabba Dabba Do Me
  4. Pin the Tail on the Baddie
  5. The Murder of Lucifer Morningstar
  6. A Lot Dirtier Than That
  7. My Best Fiend
  8. Save the Devil, Save the World
  9. Goodbye, Lucifer
  10. Partners 'Til the End

@ModHaterSLADE - it's been a pretty decent show with the maze love story with eve being the only story I could care less about. I did like finding out about her mother, but the love story is out of left field for a character who was having sex with anyone and everyone.

Tried this show, I don't know

First Season was really good

Second Season's story ran out of steam by the end

Third Season was just all over the place and unfocused

Fourth Season needed more episodes to flesh things out

Didnt watch Season 5
