@TheBeard - Being able to stare at Vanessa Hudgens certainly doesn't hurt either.

@TheBeard - its getting better. Didn't they re do the Green Lantern joke from the original pilot. wonder why they didn't use green lantern, why make up a hero in a show about the dc universe

@TheBeard - Same here. It's not great but it's fun and goofy and the characters are likeable. It's a good way to kill 20 minutes. It seems to be finding it's feet now.

This looks like the live action version of something that was animated
And that animated show had a very Archer-ish look.

@BrettMan - is this literally the worst live-action comic book property ever? Because I can't think of anything worse. And none of you say "batman and Robin", that is so bad that it's a legitimately entertaining movie and you know it. You have fun watching the dynamic duo ice-skating with rollerblades while Annie shouts ice puns, don't lie to me. Meanwhile, the only positive I can see with this garbage is that it has the pirate from dodgeball in it.

Not the cw shows, they at least provide some action with classic characters, even if the writing has fallen apart over the years. Not something like ghost rider, or green lantern, i would much rather watch those movies.

I know some of you like this, of so ignore what I am saying and continue to do you.

But for everyone else.. is this literally the worst? Hurry and answer before this comment is deleted for being excessively negative.

@ALostCause - Roger Corman's Fantastic Four...

Or Trial of the Incredible Hulk.

@Eli @ALostCause - Roger Corman's Fantastic Four is great. It's so entertaining it hurts. The freaky animatronic Thing face, Human Torch blasting off like a rocket, the special effects in general, it's really a beautiful piece of cinema history.
Powerless sucks. It knows it sucks, or it would try harder to work in actual DC Comics lore. It's references are lazy, the acting is lazy, the writing is lazy, and Alan Tudyk is phoning it in hardcore.

I liked the second episode better than the premiere. I'm watching the final season of Workaholics, shit is hilarious!

I think this show works best if you imagine it's set in the Adam West universe of Batman. Trying to reconcile it's goofy tone and bright color palette with any other version of Batman just jars horribly and makes it difficult to enjoy the show.

Still could do with some actual jokes and a tone down on the references, but getting there...

Only CBTV show I dropped immediately after the first episode. Nothing about the pilot worked for me. But if you guys say it's getting better I might give it another chance someday.

This show is very bad.

I must admit, the idea of the lead character finding out that she's dating not a supervillain, but a supervillain's *henchman*, is pretty funny and original.

Show has promise. They may be able to find their groove pretty soon here.
