CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS Plot Synopses Reveal Spoilers, Special Guest Stars, Unexpected Team-Ups & More

The CW has released the official plot descriptions for the first three hours of the upcoming "Crisis on Infinite Earths" crossover event, revealing plenty of mild spoilers, special guest stars and more!

The CW has released plot descriptions for the Supergirl, Batwoman and The Flash installments of the upcoming "Crisis on Infinite Earths" crossover, offering some mild spoilers and revealing a few of the many special guest stars and unexpected team-ups fans can expect to see in the first three hours of the five-part event.

The photos, which you can view in full below, already revealed some surprises, as hour one will see heroes from all across the Arrowverse assemble in National City for their first bout with the Anti-Monitor (LaMonica Garrett) while the second hour will send some of the supporting players on missions to recruit more heroes, including Smallville's Superman (Tom Welling) & Lois Lane (Erica Durance), Kingdom Come Superman (Brandon Routh) and a much older Bruce Wayne/Batman (Kevin Conroy).

While we await photos from hour three, the new synopsis reveals it'll be the episode that introduces Black Lightning (Cress Williams) to the Arrowverse and subsequently partner him with Pariah (Tom Cavanagh) and Earth-90 Flash (John Wesley Shipp). It also looks like Ryan Choi (Osric Chau) may have a big role to play.

THE KICKOFF TO THE EPIC TELEVISON CROSSOVER EVENT, CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS - The Monitor (guest star LaMonica Garrett) sends Harbinger (guest star Audrey Marie Anderson) to gather the worlds' greatest heroes - Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), The Flash (guest star Grant Gustin), Green Arrow (guest star Stephen Amell), Batwoman (guest star Ruby Rose), White Canary (guest star Caity Lotz), The Atom (guest star Brandon Routh) and Superman (guest star Tyler Hoechlin) - in preparation for the impending Crisis. PART TWO OF CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS CONTINUES WITH SPECIAL GUEST STARS TOM WELLING, ERICA DURANCE AND KEVIN CONROY - The group uses Ray's (guest star Brandon Routh) invention to track new recruits to help save the universe. The Monitor (guest star LaMonica Garrett) sends Iris (guest star Candice Patton), Clark (guest star Tyler Hoechlin) and Lois (guest star Elizabeth Tulloch) in search of a mysterious Kryptonian, while Kate (Ruby Rose) and Kara (guest star Melissa Benoist) head out to find Bruce Wayne (guest star Kevin Conroy). In addition, Mia (guest star Katherine McNamara) challenges Sara (guest star Caity Lotz), Rory (guest star Dominic Purcell) discovers a hidden talent, and Lex Luthor (guest star Jon Cryer) returns. BLACK LIGHTNING JOINS THE ARROWVERSE IN THE THIRD CHAPTER OF THE CROSSOVER - Pariah (Tom Cavanagh) enlists Black Lightning (guest star Cress Williams) to help stop the Anti-Monitor (guest star LaMonica Garrett) after Flash-90 (guest star John Wesley Shipp) shares what he learned from his battle in 'Elseworlds.' With the help of Black Lightning, Barry (Grant Gustin), Cisco (Carlos Valdes) and Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) come up with a plan that could save them all. Meanwhile, Iris (Candice Patton) has a heart-to-heart with Ryan Choi (guest star Osric Chau), while Oliver (guest star Stephen Amell) and Diggle (guest star David Ramsey) return to an old familiar stomping ground. David McWhirter directed the episode with story by Eric Wallace and teleplay by Lauren Certo & Sterling Gates (#609). Original airdate 12/10/2019.

"Crisis on Infinite Earths" begins with Supergirl on December 8, followed by Batwoman on December 9, The Flash on December 10 and concludes with an Arrow/Legends of Tomorrow double header on January 14, 2020.

Kate Kane never planned to be Gotham's new vigilante. Three years after Batman mysteriously disappeared, Gotham is a city in despair. With the help of her compassionate stepsister, Mary, and the crafty Luke Fox, the son of Wayne Enterprises' tech guru Lucius Fox, Kate Kane continues the legacy of her missing cousin, Bruce Wayne, as Batwoman. Still holding a flame for her ex-girlfriend, Sophie, Kate uses everything in her power to combat the dark machinations of the psychotic Alice, who's always somewhere slipping between sane and insane. Armed with a passion for social justice and a flair for speaking her mind, Kate soars through the shadowed streets of Gotham as Batwoman. But don't call her a hero yet. In a city desperate for a savior, she must first overcome her own demons before embracing the call to be Gotham's symbol of hope.

And...where are the spoilers and surprise guest stars? None of this stuff is new and certainly none of it is unexpected. Here I was expecting the Legion to return (with some new blood), the JSA to become involved, or even the Legion of Doom emerging.

How old is Kingdom Come Superman here? In the comic he’s mid 60s I think and I never liked how he “aged” sort of. I get the gray in the hair is meant to show he’s aged but Superman is supposed to age slow as [frick] right? He can live hundreds of years; maybe thousands.

Glad to have synopsis at last. As of now I am curious to see if Lena has finally stopped being so caught up in her own drama to help them or if she is just putting it on hold.

Superman meeting Smallville Superman and Kingdom Come Superman while Batwoman goes to look for Kingdom Come Batman sounds interesting. Plus Lex's returns promises our first interaction between Jon Cryer and Tyler Hoechlin, maybe he gets to also share screen with the other two.

Black Lightning teaming up with Team Flash sounds cool. I wonder how Pariah gets to be introduced here.

The only thing I'm still curious is if there are any plans to re-introduce Psycho Pirate to this event. He was the one foreshadowing it at the end of Elseworlds and back then his role was literally limited, so I thought he'd have a major role here. Must be one of the many surprises they're still keeping under wraps.

Cool pictures. Brandon Routh looks awesome as KC-Supes …...I think he's supposed to be late 40s early 50s.

Still don't like TH as Superman. He's way too short, he doesn't stand out and he's too rugged/intense looking.....and the costume is awful.
