It Sounds Like SUPERGIRL Will Definitely Be Renewed For A Second Season
While an official announcement hasn't been made just yet, CBS CEO Les Moonves has seemingly confirmed that DC Comics adaptation Supergirl will indeed return to the network for a second season this Fall.
According to Deadline, CBS CEO Les Moonves has confirmed that they intend to renew all five of the new shows they introduced this season, and Supergirl is obviously among them. While an official announcement hasn't been released just yet, one should follow these comments soon enough, and a renewal for the DC Comics drama was expected.
It's thought that The Flash making a cameo appearance was done with the intention of Supergirl returning for a second year, while ratings have remained steady despite dropping since the premiere.
Are you glad that Supergirl is going to be coming back for a second season? With any luck, the news that Kara Danvers is sticking around will mean that she'll soon get to pay a visit to the "Arrowverse" when Green Arrow and The Flash have their annual team-up this Winter. For now, that remains to be seen of course...
