SUPERGIRL: Kara Protects Her Identity In New Photos From Season 4, Episode 18: "Crime and Punishment"

When Supergirl returns this Sunday, Kara will be the newly minted Public Enemy #1, which is almost definitely going to get in the way of her superheroic activities. Meanwhile, James struggles with PTSD.

With Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) becoming Public Enemy #1, this Sunday's episode will see Kara Danvers in action as she partners with Lena (Katie McGrath) in order to find a way to clear her superhero alter-ego's name, although that's going to be easier said than done when she meets a nosy prisoner named Steve (Willie Garson), who may know exactly what Lex (Jon Cryer) is up to.

Plus, things take a turn for the worst when a riot breaks out and she has to protect Lena without revealing her secret identity.

"Crime and Punishment" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-PG, V) (HDTV)

WILLIE GARSON GUEST STARS - Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) and Lena (Katie McGrath) head to Stryker's Island to search for clues on how to defeat Lex. At the prison, Supergirl tries to befriend a nosy prisoner, Steve (guest star Willie Garson), who may have insight into what Lex was doing, but he and all of the prisoners regard her as a traitor to the country and refuse to talk to her. Lena realizes Lex left behind clues for her and deciphering them could be the key to his whereabouts. Meanwhile, Kelly (guest star Azie Tesfai) encourages James (Mehcad Brooks) to talk to someone about his PTSD, and Alex (Chyler Leigh) faces off against Ben Lockwood (Sam Witwer) after he storms the DEO and acquires some powerful weapons to hunt Supergirl. Antonio Negret directed the episode with story by Rob Wright and teleplay by Lindsay Sturman & Aadrita Mukerji (#418). Original airdate 4/21/2019.

Season three saw Supergirl stop Reign and the other Worldkillers’ threat to humanity and our planet, and in the process, Kara was shocked to find her mother Alura alive and living in a salvaged Argo City that survived the destruction of Krypton. Reconnecting with her past caused Kara to realize that her true home is now here on Earth, where big changes are taking place for her and all of her friends in National City – and also, it appears, for a doppelganger in Russia! Season four promises to be full of surprises, action, adventure and lots of big revelations for Supergirl, Alex, James, J’onn, Lena and Brainy.

This episode holds the potential to reveal finally that Kara is Supergirl to Lena, hope they use it. And if it happens I cross fingers her reaction isn't that different than when Thea found out Oliver was Green Arrow: gratitude for everything her friend has been doing all this time for the city and the planet.

Sucks they don't show the other subplots like Lockwood raiding the DEO for weaponry to use against Kara or Jimmy's deal with PTSD. I know it'll still be featured but I really would like to see it.
