This was actually a pretty good episode for Supergirl, perhaps their strongest all around episode this season. Action was really good, fights were really good, but perhaps more importantly, the LOOK of this episode was miles above last week's episode. Last week, the visuals were not very impressive with the Legion and the fights looked pretty fake and bland. But that was not the case with this week's episode. Not sure what the difference was, maybe a better director or a larger budget, but a lot of the CG was pretty good; thought they did a great job with the visuals for Livewire. Even the makeup for Brainiac was better this episode. And liked the 4 female team dynamic as well.

Speaking of Livewire, she was by far the MVP of the episode and had some of the best moments. She also had the most growth of any of the characters on this episode. And therefore, her fate in this episode is a bit of a shame because I would have liked to have seen more of her after this episode.

The Alex plot was kind of fine, not a distraction like her plot's usually are. And I liked the struggle that was depicted with Reign. Definitely think they've done a pretty good job with Reign this season and developing her as more than just a regular foe.

I guess the only question I have is why Reign killed the priestess. She pulls a Kylo Ren but it's not 100% clear why. Did she view the priestess as a criminal?

Next week's episode could be good, having Guardian back will be nice. And the more Lena Luthor, the better ;-)

Also, I've really been enjoying Reign and I think the actress that plays her, Odette Annable, is freaking hot AF as well.

@tugboy - Goddamn, I knew Amy Jackson was hot, but wow!

The 3 main brunettes this season on Supergirl are so freaking fine.

Supergirl still hasn't used her X-Ray vision to see right through Rein's mask, I bet. I stopped watching, after I saw that mid-season finale. That was the last straw of sheer stupidity I was willing to tolerate on this show.

@Luminus - You didn't consider the possibility that the mask is X-ray proof? Superman's X-ray vision doesn't always work, you know.

@GAThrawnIGF - And they always, ALWAYS explain it. On Supergirl, there is no explanation; therefore, no excuse.

Decent episode, they really screwed up with these characters' powers, a Kryptonian DOESN'T lose his powers under a Blue sun, on the contrary, he becomes even MORE powerful.
And does Saturn Girl even have Telepathy? I don't mind her new Telekinetic bs, but still...don't forget her MAIN power ffs.
