The SUPERGIRL Cast Get Stunning New Portraits; Plus Two Amazing New Posters

Supergirl season two has gotten off to quite a strong start and has quickly staked its claim as The CW's second-highest rated show, coming in just a few ticks under The Flash.

Late last night on All Hallow's Eve, eight new character portraits made their way online, spotlighting the main cast which consists of Melissa Benoist, Chyler Leigh, David Harewood, Mehcad Brooks, Jeremy Jordan, and Calista Flockhart. In addition to the awesome batch of portraits, we were also treated to two stunning new posters for the show's sophomore season featuring Benoist front-and-center as the Girl of Steel striking a superheroic pose.

The hour-long drama centers on Kara Zor-El, Superman's cousin, who was born on the planet Krypton and escaped amid its destruction years ago. Since arriving on Earth, she has been hiding the powers she shares with her famous cousin. But now at age 24, she decides to embrace her superhuman abilities and be the hero she was always meant to be.

I have zero interest in this show anymore after the abomination episode with Red Tornado but Martian manhunter looks very legit. One of the best CGI characters on network TV.
