THE FLASH: Get Your First Proper Look At Cicada In New Photos From Season 5, Episode 2: "Blocked"

Ahead of The Flash's season five premiere tomorrow night, The CW has released fifteen new promotional stills from next week's installment, giving us our first proper look at the latest big bad, Cicada!

While Cicada (Chris Klein) will probably make his presence felt in tomorrow night's season premiere, it seems he won't actually make himself known to Team Flash until the following week's installment, which is titled "Blocked."

The hour will see Barry (Grant Gustin) mentor his daughter (Jessica Parker Kennedy) in an effort to help her become a better speedster, but the pair will get sidetracked when a new meta begins stealing high-tech weapons across town. Meanwhile, it looks like Cisco (Carlos Valdes) and Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) will be having a heart-to-heart about Killer Frost before the showdown with Cicada.

"Blocked" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-PG, LV) (HDTV) CHRIS KLEIN JOINS "THE FLASH" - As Barry (Grant Gustin) helps his daughter, Nora (Jessica Parker Kennedy), become a better speedster, he and Team Flash also track down a meta stealing high-tech weapons, only to cross paths with a new foe named Cicada (Chris Klein), who is hunting the very same meta with nefarious intent. Matching wits with The Thinker, who by season’s end had harnessed the powers of all twelve bus metas he created, stretched Team Flash to their limits, but with the help of some new allies, Barry Allen (aka The Flash) and company were able to put a stop to the Enlightenment and save Central City once again. However, with the arrival of Barry and Iris’ speedster daughter, Nora, who arrived from the future admitting to having made a “big mistake,” things are anything but status quo. Will parenthood be the challenge that finally slows The Flash down?

There he is that shunovabisch of Cicada. Finally showed himself.

The design of his coat and those forearms protectors are similar to his comic book design along with the lightning shaped dagger. Only the hoodie and mouth-breather are new.

Pretty excited of what this episode will mean for the story.
