THE FLASH Season 5, Episode 15 "King Shark vs. Gorilla Grodd" Images Released

The CW has released the first official images from the March 5th episode of The Flash, and as well as a familiar face from the world of Arrow, we get to see the long overdue return of Detective Joe West...

Some of the best episodes of The Flash have revolved around Gorilla Grodd and King Shark, and both villains are being brought together for what's being billed as "The Ultimate Showdown."

Unlike past adventures, King Shark will be on the side of the angels (for a little while, at least) but he and Grodd are clearly going to come to blows in a big way regardless and that promises to be a lot of fun. In these officially released images from this instalment of The CW series, we get to see a number of characters but, sadly, there's no sign of the CGI baddies.

THE ULTIMATE SHOWDOWN — When Gorilla Grodd (voiced by David Sobolov) attacks Central City, Barry (Grant Gustin) and Team Flash find themselves teaming up with an unexpected ally to defeat — King Shark (voiced by David Hayter). However, when they hit a snag, they bring in Dr. Tanya Lamden (guest star Zibby Allen) to try to reach the man behind the shark, Shay Lamden (guest star Dan Payne). Stefan Pleszczynski directed the episode written by Eric Wallace & Lauren Certo (#515). Original airdate 3/5/2019.

Yay Joe is finally back. Seems he catches up a lot with Iris specially when she seems to be practicing some of the boxing he taught her and Barry as little.

I wonder if King Shark will continue to be an ARGUS matter asset after this episode. Grodd definitely will unless he escapes like back in S1.

Can't wait for March 5th.

Glad to see ARGUS showing up, should make the episode better to bring people over from Arrow.

Nice to see Joe back as well, though to be honest I've kind of forgotten that he has been missing, don't really feel like his absence has had a big impact on the season. Not sure if that's good or bad...

A better title would have been "Lots of random pics of Iris West and absolutely nothing involving a talking gorilla or a walking land shark."
