Nora's name is actually borrowed from Jenni Ognats, the real and original XS. She was also a Legionnaire like Imra Ardeen, Querl Dox and Mon-El are in Supergirl. So is her costume's logo.

I really wished for December for some reason. Well the promos are gonna have to be coming full gear now since NY Comic Con is in early October. Unless the Season is packed of many surprises so they'll be super low key about it in order to not spoil things?

But October 19th does make sense, as it falls on a Friday, and as far as I can remember all Marvel Netflix shows have come out on Fridays.

@RageDriver2401 - Well, considering the review embargo is on October 12th, it wouldn't make any sense for it to not be released until December 22.

Job 12:22 states: "He uncovers deep things out of the darkness, and brings the shadow of death to light"

...so I think that's more of a hint at what's to come in season 3.

Just my opinion though. I could be totally wrong.

But conversely, season 1 of the Punisher came out the same weekend as Justice League...

But DD S03 definitely won't be out in December.

I am liking it more than season 1, that's for sure, but I don't know where I'd rank it within the Netflix MCU series.
