Yesterday, Funko revealed a new wave of Pops for The Flash yesterday but star Candice Patton (Iris West) was quick to point out something wrong with the male-centric line of figures. Check it out...

A few years ago, Funko released a wave of Pop Vinyl figures for The Flash featuring Barry Allen's Scarlet Speedster, Reverse-Flash, and Captain Cold. Since then, we've also had figures featuring Zoom and Grodd and the latest wave features The Flash, Kid-Flash, Jay Garrick, and Vibe. Unfortunately, there's not a female character in sight and that didn't sit particularly well with star Candice Patton (Iris West).

It would have been great to get a Pop featuring Iris (especially if she was decked out in her superhero costume from season four), while Jesse Quick and Gypsy would have also been cool. I'm not sure how much demand there would be for Cecile and Nora has only just been introduced but the company was quick to reveal that a Killer Frost Pop is on the way and promised more female characters are coming.

Do you agree that this was a missed opportunity or is Patton making a fuss over nothing? Will you be picking any of these figures up? Feel free to weigh in with your thoughts in the comments section.

Dear Twitter - please make a social platform where all of my requests and wishes will not only be heard, but will be acted on in 240 characters or less. Thank you!

She complained and ruined a surprise for The Flash. Unbelievable work Candice, terrific job!

And your character isn't even the female Funko! Thank god, she's one of the worst characters in the Arrowverse. Iris goes next to Cecile at the BOTTOM of the list Candice posted.

It's on the show if there aren't any female characters that are Funko-worthy.
I'd only be interested in The Flash or The Reverse Flash.

Her first response was "Look at all these men 🌚"
And then they unveiled KF. This is exactly why complaints like this are stupid - they're totally unfounded. You have no idea what's going on behind-the-scenes. Just like with the complaints about Jack Whitehall in Jungle Cruise, you have no idea how the character is going to be handled.

And you're really fighting the power and sexism by pointing out that a line of Funko bobbleheads are all-male.

Danielle Panabaker responded to the "Time is up" in Funko's reveal tweet with "For some of us 😢" and that's totally fine. It's not a gender issue. I'm glad she gets her Funko, I'm glad Candice hasn't yet.

@Nebula - "And you're really fighting the power and sexism by pointing out that a line of Funko bobbleheads are all-male."

Even if they were all female, I'm not sure how that would progress the fight against sexism. I highly doubt gender equality will progress in any way thanks to more female Funkos. How about fighting for real things instead of sounding like a bitter person who's complaining about irrelevant things at the first opportunity?

@Asturgis - Exactly. That's what I'm saying. God it's [frick]ing stupid.
It's not even like it's a "representation" thing. It's just her whining that there's no Iris.

@Asturgis - and I feel like, theres no shortage of female funkos

I have a few Funko Pop figures, but I never really like the design of them. Cool for a collection, but I never found them that appealing. Hot Toys spoiled me on proper collectible figures. Pricey bastards.

(Last one's not a toy, but she sure is pretty.)

@MosquitoFarmer - Sideshow and Hot Toys make incredible products, but having a realistic statue in your home that resembles a living actor playing a role is creepy AF. Hey, check out my Christian Bale statue or my Jack Nicholson statue, they look real, don't they? > Runs out of the house. Now, an Iron Man, an Arkham Knight, something fantasy, sure. But having a Bruce Willis statue is super weird. I also think having a Wonder Woman statue is cool, but a Gal Gadot statue as Wonder Woman is lame. Fight me :)

@Asturgis - I can certainly see that side of it. When I first learned about Hot Toys it was The Dark Knight Batman figure, and I was like where the hell were these toys I when I was little?! That's why I bought my brother the Keaton Batman because that was his first movie as a kid.

So I took your quandary and tried to figure out how to make it less creepy. My first thought was that, "Well, if you still happen to play with action figures...", then I realized it was only going to get way creepier instantly.

@MosquitoFarmer - Ha ha ha, for sure :) I want the Captain Marvel by Sideshow so bad, but it's way too expensive.
