The DC Universe recently revealed the premiere date for Titans Season 2, and now some new images give us a look at Aqualad and Deathstroke, who will make their debut when the show returns this September.

Aside from announcing a premiere date for Titans Season 2, the DC Universe also showcased some exclusive footage from the series’ return. And while none of it has been released to the public, we now have a couple of low-res images of what was shown.

Shared by DC Daily’s Ray Carsillo, the new photos below give fans their first look at Aqualad (Drew Van Acker) and Deathstroke (Esai Morales), revealing what appears to be comic-accurate costumes for the two fan-favorite characters

Plot details on the show’s second season are still being kept under wraps, but we recently learned that the DC Universe original is scheduled to return September 6, 2019.

Along with Esai Morales and Drew Van Acker, Titans Season 2 will also see stars Chelsea T. Zhang, Chella Mann and Joshua Orpin make their debut as Ravager, Jericho and Superboy respectively.

@MuadDib - For all the flaws and ppl who talk badly about Titans.. it’s got potential.. and no it’s not perfect.. but it’s slightly better that the CW shows.

Probably one of the most faithful Deathstroke costume ever.

I like how they're also seemingly moving towards the other Titans team from the comics. Always like the sidekicks teaming up more than the Starfire and co team

@DnA - It's really incredible how well and accurately Marvel adapts the comic books costumes. Even from the set photos Taskmaster looks great.

And agreed. I really hope he isn't a one-off. He's a character with too much potential for that.

The Titans costumes to me were just a step above what the CW does. Nothing really great, though I think the Hawk and Dove costumes are quite good, and the Robin one is okay (guess this is a flashback).

The show itself needs to improve. Some of the worst writing I've seen in anything superhero related recently. Unnecessarily repetitive dialogue that doesn't say anything, cheesy writing, and inconsistent characterisation. God it was bad. I might have handled the weird blue filter, overtly edgy tone, weird direction and subpar acting if the writing was at least good.

WOW!!! If this is was we saw right off the bat in season 1, the word of mouth would've have been as bad. But people tend to judge a book by it's cover.

I liked Titans but it's a Netflix offering over here so no extra effort needed to watch it. It's no Umbrella Academy, but i liked it.

Has Wally and Roy been confirmed to appear on the show at any point? I doubt it's because they're prominent on the DC shows, since we have a new Deathstroke.

I feel the same way about Gotham. Comic purists like to exaggerate the changes it made, but that show gave us some of the best live action portrayals of various characters and storylines (Penguin, Riddler, Scarecrow, Ra's al Ghul, Cameron Monaghan's Jokers, Mad Hatter, No Man's Land, ETC). A lot of it is very faithful to the comics, but with different character ages and a reshuffled timeline.

For a while, I was one of the only people on this site who liked Agents of SHIELD. Hang in there!

Why haven’t they released the trailer online? I hope this next season is faster paced than the first. Season 1 was slow and I got annoyed that they didn’t do much as a team. Other than that, I thought it was really good.
