But I just realized that if I go back and upvote your first comment, it would negate my reply and disrupt the chronological integrity of this thread..sorta like Bryan Singer effin around with the timeline of the X-Men films. Most be a slow day when this made the news feed. I'm surprise this show got a second season I couldn't even watch past episodes 2. Should just be cancelled.

this has nothing to do with this, but I highly recommend this box set if you like the Justice League, and want to see them every day on your shelf or whatever for the rest of your life.

I picked it up at my local comic book store, but they likely sell them online for different stores

I love Carter and Jarvis, but this show doesn't really seem to have a lot of reason to exist. The dialogue and performances are much sharper this season, but beyond that...

Maybe the problem is network sensibilities. If they don't renew it, maybe Netflix will give it (or some spiritual successor) a go. I could see Carter leading the Liberty Legion like a slightly more serious retro version of the live-action Tick.

Reasons why I think this show is bad and boring:
1. They are set in the past and cannot do anything too detrimental to the future.
2. Nobody has super powers or does anything very exciting.
3. They talk so softly and about the most boring things. How many people want to funk Agent Carter anyway? Love interest city. Amazed this got a second season. I cannot hold any interest in it. I find myself falling asleep or drifting away while watching.

I really like Agent Carter. It's not extraordinary, but it's engaging and clearly fits into the MCU. It's like a perfect side comic with its own personality (like Fraction's Hawkeye). I only wish AoS could develop it's own identity as well - perhaps the difference between 8-10 eps. and 22-23 eps. is the problem.

Agents of SHIELD should only be 16 eps. seasons, while maintaining the same budget.

Just watched the latest episode. Pretty interesting so far, but not on AOS level. Given the ratings, I don't think it'll last much longer. I'm hoping for one more season after this just to wrap things up; have Peggy and Stark establish SHIELD.

Loved the Kid Colt stuff. Like I've said before I would love to see Netflix (or ABC) make a genuine western full-length Kid Colt movie.
