While they could just be hiding it, it does seem AOS will actually stop connecting with the MCU. It's a shame, because I'd like to see how the show handles the decimation.

So it kinda sounds like sarge is hunting deke. Maybe he hunts anomalies like him. Now all I can think of coulsons doppelganger hunting old cap XD

@lemric - my theory is Sarge is a Temporal Agent of some sort.

He rids universes/timelines of time anomalies that shouldn't be.

HeavyMetal4Life - 5/2/2019, 11:11 AM
@lemric - I think you're right about him hunting anomalies. And technically, old Cap hasn't happened yet... ;-)

@BlackBeltJones - yea that's what I'm thinking too. Although the whole destroying worlds seems a bit overkill to do that.

@lemric - Overkill indeed unless there is something that pushes him to that point.

Maybe he discovers Earth is breeding ground for time anomalies and interfering with and abusing time and decides no more. He says he has visited a number of worlds.

Maybe in this case he just means to wipe out the timeline AOS takes place in.

So will this season be set before or after the snap? I don't care but I just really hope they don't pretend it never happens.
HeavyMetal4Life
HeavyMetal4Life - 5/2/2019, 11:59 AM
@Nightwing1015 - well, considering that the last few episodes of season 5 took place at the same time as Infinity War did...

@Nightwing1015 - Hopefully it’s just set afterwards, and it just happened that all of them got snapped. Convenient , yes, but atleast then it doesn’t mess up continuity
Nightwing1015
Nightwing1015 - 5/2/2019, 1:47 PM
@Sideswipe89 - I guess it wouldn't upset continuity. But that wouldn't explain them ignoring the snap. They would still have to address its effects.

AOS could actually be really interesting this season. It could explore earth's reaction to the snap in greater detail.

@Nightwing1015 - They said it was after the Snap.

@HeavyMetal4Life - since apparently there is no longer a connection to the Cinematic Universe I am thinking that when they were in the future last year they came back to a different timeline

HeavyMetal4Life - 5/3/2019, 7:28 AM
@blitzburgh - apparently? No clue what you're talking about.
