AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.: Old Enemies Return In The New Promo For Season 5, Episode 14: "The Devil Complex"

While fans await word on a possible series renewal or cancellation, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. keeps chugging along and delivered yet another solid installment tonight as Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) and his team sought out some gravitonium that had been hidden since Season 1.

Next week, Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) and Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) race against the clock to find a way to seal the Rift, which sounds like a pretty interesting honeymoon. However, in their quest, they find themselves facing one of their greatest fears: Framework Fitz.

In light of the Sokovia Accords, and with Hydra obliterated, S.H.I.E.L.D. has been legitimatized again and no longer needs to operate in the shadows. Since the world presumes that Coulson is dead, the organization needed a new Director (Jason O’Mara) to be the face of the organization. Coulson finds himself back in the role as an agent and teamed with Mack (Henry Simmons), and together they are tasked with tracking down and confirming the presence of Enhanced people, aka Inhumans. They have been trying to track down and capture Daisy (Chloe Bennet), aka Quake, who has gone rogue in an attempt to atone for sins from the past. But with the world believing that Daisy is a dangerous outlaw who has taken down banks and bridges, the new Director has no qualms about taking her down for good. Agent May (Ming-Na Wen) is tasked with training specialist strike teams, and Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) and Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) have taken a big step forward in their relationship. But with Simmons’ new promotion as Special Advisor to the Director in Science and Technology, Fitz, as well as her former team members, finds it hard to confide in or trust her since she’s now the Director’s confidant.

lol i loved how coulson couldnt help himself with the mchammer line XD

will be interesting to see how deke deals with the knowledge of he is living with his grand parents

also, while i know she has her own shit going on right now, yoyo really needs to tell someone what future yoyo told her. oh and a neat thing i noticed was that the gloves on the robot mack brought back, appear to be the same gloves yoyo was wearing in the robin flashback

@lemric - there was another Robin callback I thought, Fitz mentioned something when describing Deke and I thought it was the same thing he said when he was trying to hand Robin over to May.

I'm wondering if Yoyo is holding back because she's afraid that talking about the prophecy means it will happen. Idk. Hopefully we get that addressed sooner than later.
