AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.: Time Is Up In The New Promo For Season 5, Episode 11: "All The Comforts Of Home"

After a bombshell reveal, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is taking a month off for the Winter Olympics, but when it returns, expect some major fireworks as Coulson and company find themselves being hunted!

Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) and most of his crew finally made it back to the present tonight, but a new twist may have just changed everything.

As it turns out, the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. are actually stuck in a time loop of sorts, basically doomed to repeat the same mistakes every time they go back to present over and over and over again. Plus, we learned that a previous time loop's Yo-Yo is actually Kasius' mysterious seer, hence why she's very knowledgeable about what's to come since she's lived through it multiple times before.

While Yo-Yo, Simmons, and Mack deal with the fallout in the future, the rest of the gang - Coulson, May, Daisy, and Fitz - made it back to the present where they're going to find themselves in way over their heads when they find out that the U.S. government is hunting them down for the crimes of their doppelgängers. Executive producers Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen tease, "Before our S.H.I.E.L.D. team was whisked away to the future, the world had seen LMD Daisy shoot Talbot in the head; one could assume that did not go unnoticed,” Coulson's injury will also play a big role in the second half of the season. “Complications always arise when a secret is being kept.

Watch the new promo for episode eleven, titled "All The Comforts of Home," below:

FRIDAY, MARCH 2 (9:00-10:01 p.m. EST), on The ABC Television Network, streaming and on demand.

In light of the Sokovia Accords, and with Hydra obliterated, S.H.I.E.L.D. has been legitimatized again and no longer needs to operate in the shadows. Since the world presumes that Coulson is dead, the organization needed a new Director (Jason O’Mara) to be the face of the organization. Coulson finds himself back in the role as an agent and teamed with Mack (Henry Simmons), and together they are tasked with tracking down and confirming the presence of Enhanced people, aka Inhumans. They have been trying to track down and capture Daisy (Chloe Bennet), aka Quake, who has gone rogue in an attempt to atone for sins from the past. But with the world believing that Daisy is a dangerous outlaw who has taken down banks and bridges, the new Director has no qualms about taking her down for good. Agent May (Ming-Na Wen) is tasked with training specialist strike teams, and Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) and Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) have taken a big step forward in their relationship. But with Simmons’ new promotion as Special Advisor to the Director in Science and Technology, Fitz, as well as her former team members, finds it hard to confide in or trust her since she’s now the Director’s confidant.
