ARMOR WARS Could Feature The Return Of Walton Goggins' ANT-MAN AND THE WASP Villain Sonny Burch

Armor Wars is expected to put the spotlight primarily on Don Cheadle's War Machine, though we are anticipating seeing more of Dominique Thorne's Ironheart following her MCU debut in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Beyond that, we don't know much, but the title is a dead giveaway that we're getting some sort of adaptation of the classic Iron Man storyline.

In that, Tony Stark's technology found its way on to the black market and a variety of villains ended up getting some major upgrades along the way. Justin Hammer was a key part of the proceedings, and we're fully anticipating seeing Sam Rockwell return in some form following his Iron Man 2 debut.

Now, an IMDb listing (via The Ronin) may reveal another villain for the Disney+ series.

Stuntman Rex Reddick filled in for Walton Goggins' Sonny Burch in Ant-Man and The Wasp, and it appears he's set to double for the actor again on at least one episode of Armor Wars

Needless to say, nothing is confirmed at this point, but this is definitely interesting. We still haven't learned the identity of Burch's mysterious Benefactor, but we know they have an interest in high-end technology. Hammer certainly fits the bill, and revealing him as the big bad of this show would be welcomed by fans (you have to believe he's out of prison by now).

Armor Wars doesn't have a premiere date, though we are expecting to see it arrive on Disney+ either late next year or, more likely, sometime in 2023.

We'll keep you guys updated as we learn more about this one.
