@malsemarcel - Yeah, I don't remember that either. Although, given what Elektra is and the fact that she was down there with him, it's likely that was the case.

@malsemarcel - I just finished my first rewatch of the series already a couple days ago (which, I don't really get those coming down hard on it, I enjoyed it plenty) and strictly speaking, no there's no confirmation at all of Elektra surviving, just Matt.

@AgeofApocalypse - presumably he's gotta be coming soon. Although I remember people theorizing that they sort of backdoor'd Bullseye already into season 1. When Daredevil was hold up in the empty building with the Russian and Fisk had one of his people get on the rooftop to start sniping, it's worth noting they kept that guy's face hidden...

@SimpleeComplex - I'm sorry but I don't get that take AT ALL. That Karen is supposedly so irritating. I mean if you look at things from POV, the constant lying and manipulation she kept having to deal with from both Matt and Foggy, lest we forget it's only actually been a very small amount of screen time we've been privy to where she saw and understood the whole picture.

Actually I was thinking, what if the Russos had come up with a very legitimate, necessary way for SOME of the Defenders to be in Infinity War, but not all. Like as part of the story they wanted to do, it makes total sense for say, Daredevil and Luke Cage to play a part, but not Jessica or Danny.

Would you still want that? or should it be all or none of them?

I'm guessing Born Again mixed with Shadowland. Matt will become darker and more violent as the black sky blood overtakes him. Shadowland will be built on the ruins of Midland as Matt unknowingly helps revive the Hand.
