Marvel has released a new mid-season sneak peek for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier's final two episodes, and it looks like Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes are on a collision course with Captain America.

Marvel Studios has released a mid-season sneak peek for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, exploring the complicated legacy of the shield and what lies ahead for Sam Wilson, Bucky Barnes, John Walker, and the Flag Smashers. Most of the footage here is familiar, but there are some new shots, including Walker making it very clear that he is Captain America.

In the closing few seconds, we see Sam and Bucky confront Cap, and it appears the stage is set for a two-on-one fight with the unhinged Walker (whose worst traits, and his apparent PTSD, have been heightened by taking the super soldier serum created by the Power Broker).

Is this the moment they finally take the shield from Walker? It certainly looks like they're going to try.

In our review of last Friday's episode, we concluded by saying: "'The Whole World Is Watching' finds a quintessential balance of action and character moments, putting the spotlight on the excellent Wyatt Russell's John Walker and what it means to be Captain America in today's world."

Directed by Kari Skogland with Malcolm Spellman as head writer, the six-episode series stars Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Daniel Brühl, Emily VanCamp, Wyatt Russell, Erin Kellyman, Adepero Oduye, Amy Aquinom and Danny Ramirez. The first four episodes of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier are now streaming on Disney+.

Russell is legit killing it as Walker. I wouldn't mind a U.S. Agent show down the line.

That warehouse confrontation seems to be right after the street bashing. I wonder if that means Walker wins or simply gets the shield back, since he's seen fighting Karli at night in the trailer as well.

@Ravenous - my thought exactly. Maybe it's clever editing? Although I doubt that

I actually like John Walker. He doesn't seem like a bad person, just frustrated that the people around him doesn't accept him as Captain America. And more importantly, it wasn't his fault who was chosen to be new Captain America, it was the government who made the decision and the blood are on their hands. Either way, I look forward in seeing John as US Agent.

WV was great, but I’m way more invested in TFATWS than I ever was in WV.

Only 2 eps left, has me wondering how long the wait till be till the next D+ Marvel show. It’s hard to comprehend how much I need these shows pumping out new eps every week!

"He bled for this country, shield or no shield, I'm not gonna let anybody tell me I can't fight for it"

Now, THAT is Capt. America.
