HAWKEYE: Hailee Steinfeld FINALLY Confirmed As Kate Bishop Thanks To New Set Video

We can finally put the speculation to rest because a new video from the New York set of Hawkeye confirms that Hailee Steinfeld (Bumblebee) is indeed playing Kate Bishop in the Disney+ TV series...

Hawkeye is currently shooting in Brooklyn, New York, and thanks to Murphy's Multiverse, we have a first look at Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner), Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld), and Lucky the Pizza Dog. The trio are making their way on to the subway, and that's pretty much all this video reveals!

It's fitting that Lucky is accompanying these two on whatever journey they're heading on, and it's about time we get to spend time with a real-life cute animal in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Now, the quality of the video below isn't the greatest  (why does it seem set videos like these are always taken on cameras a decade old?), but the person who took it has confirmed that it's Steinfeld playing Kate, and based on what we see here, it does look exactly like the actress. It's no secret that she's been Marvel Studios' top choice from the start, and we can't imagine they've cast a lookalike!

In the comic books, Bishop takes over the mantle from Clint Barton and joins the Young Avengers, which is a story arc fans are hoping to see play out in this shared world. That team will most likely assemble in Ant-Man 3 based on what we know about the threequel, so Hawkeye should serve as Kate's introduction.
