HAWKEYE: It Looks Like Shooting Will Begin In New York As Soon As Next Week HAWKEYE: It Looks Like Shooting Will Begin In New York As Soon As Next Week

We may not know who's going to end up playing Kate Bishop in Hawkeye, but we could soon have our first look at the Disney+ series as shooting is expected to kick off in New York sometime next week...

Like Marvel Studios' movies, the Disney+ TV shows Kevin Feige and company are working on have all been hit by delays thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, production is finally starting to ramp up, and with Ms. Marvel currently shooting in Atlanta, Georgia, it appears as if Hawkeye might be next.

As you can see below, signs have gone up in Brooklyn, New York, confirming that shooting will begin on the series as soon as next week. This is a pleasant surprise, and depending who will be present on set, we could be in store for some very exciting reveals. Unfortunately, Hailee Steinfeld rocking up in full costume as Kate Bishop could be wishful thinking at this stage!

However, with Jeremy Renner clearly busy prepping for Hawkeye, it's entirely possible that he'll be there. After all, Clint Barton was based in Brooklyn in Matt Fraction's Hawkeye run, and it was there the Avenger ended up crossing paths (and getting beat up by) the villainous Tracksuit Mafia.

We'll just have to wait and see what happens, but with a first look at Kamala Khan revealed via set photos, there's a good chance whatever Hawkeye shots end up online will also include something cool.

@regularmovieguy - This should be the intro
I was born 49 years ago in the highlands of Iowa. I am an archer, and I am not alone. Now is the time of the Gathering, when the shot of an arrow will release the power of the Quickening. In the end, there can be only one.

If I here Renner's gonna be in Brooklyn, I might just have to go try to catch a peak. (And not get jumped at that hour of the night.)

Just remember when Hailee is announced for this, that I was one of the few who kept the faith when most of ya'll fell off after that one article that questioned her availability!

Oh and same with Tatiana, how anyone thinks she ain't gonna be She-Hulk is laughable!

@LongMayHeReign - Bruh Variety and the trades are hardly wrong. Maslany was just trying to not break NDA. The trades announced the Ms. Marvel actor and they got it right. So I don’t know why anyone would question their credulity.

I don't get why Marvel is refusing to announce things. Like, we're going to have multiple major castings confirmed by set photos within the next couple of months. It's ridiculous, from a PR perspective. You want to be in control of your own news. Why they didn't host a digital event is beyond me, but that time is past. You've got to just start doing press releases like a normal company.
