@dracula - well he immediately makes it a show worth giving a shit about, for one. Right now I’m here for Pugh, Kingpin, and Matty Ice. I couldn’t give a lesser [frick] about the MCU version of Hawkbore. In fact, his underling will most likely become more interesting then the lead himself after just an episode or two. Not Renner’s fault he just hasn’t had the material to worth with from Markus and McFeely

Netflix's Daredevil really was something special. I have a friend who usually hates everything superhero and he fell in love with the show.

Don't know how this version of Kingpin can fit in the overall MCU. Tonally speaking, I don't know.

@Kingdork - They can "tone down" the town. Most of those who didn't watch the series shouldn't have a problem (unless he isn't like his portrayal in the comics, maybe). And I'm guessing most who "did" see it and liked his portrayal will just be glad they are using him for the MCU films.

Keeping in mind the MCU does not consider themselves beholden to anything but other MCU films.
