Guess we can say Finn Jones contributed one good thing to the MCU.

If any defender needs a full reboot its Iron Fist

@dracula - I still say Jones is well cast and remains salvageable. All you need is a soft reboot (in a similar vein that Cox's Daredevil would need to fudge the continuity).

The crunchy granola drifter characterization they introduced worked for me a lot. The problems with Iron Fist are the same problems all of the Netflix shows had, but it just fell a little too short a little too often to get the same benefit of the doubt (plus it came last, so the novelty of the shows was wearing thin).

Unironically, I still say Iron Fist works more than it fails and they should let Finn have another stab at it (especially considering Iron Fist probably wouldn't be getting much focus anyway with Shang-Chi occupying the Marvel Martial Arts niche).

Nice that he was supportive. He could have had sour grapes after his show was unceremoniously axed. I guess as an actor, you should expect that can happen at any time though. That's the gig and nothing lasts forever.

I just like to imagine he was saying this while doing a Palpatine impression.

DO IT!

His line delivery always sounded like he was aggravated for some reason. Or constipated. Like just relax man, I get that you're really British but quit growling your lines.

Iron first perhaps was my second most anticipated project when they announced the Netflix line up, I do love me so martial arts mixed in with spiritual mumbo jumbo. However it soon dropped to my least favorite of the lot. I feel many people shared the same sentiments.

Despite the criticism, the show, the character and even the actor received from the likes of us and the general public, he's still sees it a positive experience, doesn't show any bitterness from his experience and actively supported some else (Hailee steinfeld of all people 🙏❤️) to pursue a role with Marvel Studios.

Dude has got great character and my respect.

Good guy. So nice to his fans at a comic con I went to. He was not my pick to play Danny Rand (Ray Park was my pick), however I really liked him in the role and I'd give him another chance as the Iron Fist.
