Jessica Jones, along with the four other Netflix Marvel shows, Daredevil, Punisher, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist, have all been officially cancelled now over the course of the past couple of months in what has been a series of devastating blows to fans of the shows.

The good news however, is that there is still one more season left to be released in the Defenders deal, and that's Jessica Jones Season 3. There hasn't been much word as to which direction the season will take our titular hero after the battles she's faced in the past, but if a new comment from the showrunner is to be believed, she'll be haunted by her past demons, AKA Kilgrave, the villain from the first Season a bit longer yet. Check out the tweet below!

Sure, Kilgrave died in Season 1, but to be fair that didn't stop him from making a haunting appearance in the Jessica's second Netflix outing. How do you think he'll make his final return? Check out the trailer for Jessica Jones below!

After a tragic ending to her short-lived Super Hero stint, Jessica Jones is rebuilding her personal life and career as a private detective in Hell's Kitchen. It's time the world knew her name...

Jessica Jones Season 3 is expected to be streaming on Netflix by mid-late 2019.

Ehh, not enough to get me to watch the season. The only good episode in season 2 involved Kilgrave, and it was extremely disappointing that he was relegated to a single episode when it was teased that he would have more of a role.

Im hoping this season brings some closure to Jessicas multiple traumas, that she deals with her issues. plus I hope they get more inspiration from the Pulse comics this time, have her working with Karen's newspaper, to help random superhumans

Still wish we'd gotten that "anal" scene.

Season 2 really had a hard time finding a compelling story without Kilgrave. His episode in season 2 was the best one for a reason. Hopefully they fare a little better in season 3.

Either way more David Tennant is always a good thing.
