New JESSICA JONES Season 2 Stills Offer A First Look At Janet McTeer's Mysterious Character
Another wave of images from the upcoming second season of Jessica Jones have been revealed and they offer up a first look at the mysterious character being played by Janet McTeer. Check them out...
An argument could be made that Jessica Jones is the best of Marvel's shows on Netflix as it was consistently good throughout its first season. The character also stole the show in The Defenders and excitement is building for the character to return this March. Thanks to Empire, we have some new stills from the series, one of which provides a first look at a mystery character played by Janet McTeer.
Showrunner Melissa Rosenberg says that "noir thrillers and character dramas" and "sometimes horror and action movies" served as the inspiration for season two but promises that "fans will definitely recognise moments from the [comic books]." To check out the new images, click either one of the buttons below and stay tuned for updates on Jessica Jones season two moving forward.
Here, we see Jessica coming face to face with Janet McTeer's still mysterious character. It's been said that she'll have a huge impact on the private detective's world moving forward. Who could she be?
Jessica is pictured here alongside Malcolm, one of her closest allies and someone who will seemingly continue playing a key role in her life moving forward. Things look a little tense between them, though.
Kilgrave may have been killed at the end of Jessica Jones season one but it appears as if the villain will still be getting inside the head of the show's lead character when it returns on March 8th.
