I'd really like him to be Scott Free, but even with WB not being the walking disaster it once was, I'm afraid of what could happen with that New Gods movie.

@Spock0Clock - plus the director’s last movie sucked

@Spock0Clock - this would be perfect

Get Shia

@tmp3 - I wish I didn't like this as much as I do.

@tmp3 - this

@tmp3 - no. The character should be unstable, not the actor. Besides, I thought we all agreed on Oliver Jackson-Cohen.

@soberchimera - Shia's not the guy he used to be though, he went to rehab and got cleaned up. He's been working consistently, so it's not like he's gonna suddenly relapse on Moon Knight
soberchimera
soberchimera - 2/19/2020, 9:20 AM
@tmp3 - I just don't think he's a good fit, it seems people are just randomly casting actors because of their Jewish backgrounds (Garfield, Radcliffe, Labeouf).
tmp3
tmp3 - 2/19/2020, 9:22 AM
@soberchimera - If that were true, wouldn't Larry David be #1 on everyone's fan casts lmao

@tmp3 - DEW IT

@tmp3 - Larry David as Puppet Master.

Also, since Labeouf is a method actor like Joaquin Phoenix, he doesn't seem the type to commit to a multi-year commitment.

@soberchimera - Labeouf ain't method though, he wasn't method on set of Honey Boy or Peanut Butter Falcon from everything I've read about both projects.
soberchimera
soberchimera - 2/19/2020, 9:29 AM
@tmp3 - Yeah, but he's been doing indie films for awhile now, and let's be honest, this will be a tv series, which I'm not sure he'd be interested in even if it does trickle into future Avengers films down the road.

@tmp3 - To be fair, Moon Knight is probably the one place where a relapse might enhance the production.

@soberchimera - we? You have a bird in your pocket? I have OJC as Reed Richards
Battabing
Battabing - 2/19/2020, 11:53 AM
@soberchimera - Because that's how Marvel is casting. They want Jewish guys.
soberchimera
soberchimera - 2/19/2020, 12:12 PM
@Battabing - Oliver Jackson-Cohen is Jewish. Also just because someone is within a certain group doesn't mean they're perfect for the role, look what happened to Lex Luthor and Joker when WB insisted they cast an Oscar nominee. Marc Spector isn't even a practicing Jew in the comics his father just happened to be a Rabbi.
Battabing
Battabing - 2/19/2020, 1:24 PM
@soberchimera - Doesn't matter. Feige wants Jews. He's even looking to Israel to get them.

Good. Not a fan of that casting.

I haven’t read much Moon Knight, but I have trouble seeing Radcliffe as an intimidating guy. Everything I’ve seen him in since Harry Potter has had him fairly meek and goofy.

@MyCoolYoung - he was great in Imperium, but he's still like 4'8" and hardly any imposing figure
