Cameras are still rolling on Moon Knight in Budapest, and star Oscar Isaac has promised fans that they're in store for a "wild, wild" experience when the series finally arrives on Disney+. Check it out...

Oscar Isaac has made no secret of the fact he was disappointed with the way Poe Dameron's story went in the Star Wars sequels, but he's got a lot of exciting projects on the horizon, including Metal Gear Solid and his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut, Moon Knight

The latter is currently shooting in Budapest, and during a Comic-Con@Home panel for Head Wounds Sparrow, a new comic co-created by the actor, he teased fans with what to expect.

"I'm here on the set of Marvel's Moon Knight," Isaac says in the video below. "We're deep into it over here, it's been going great. It's gonna be a wild, wild show and I'm excited to talk about it in the future." Clearly, he's not going to say much more than that about the show for now, but shooting is expected to wrap at some point in the next couple of months.

That doesn't necessarily mean a first look is imminent, but Marvel Studios has done a great job keeping Moon Knight under wraps. In terms of set photos, we've seen pretty much nothing, and very little has been revealed when it comes to plot details (beyond it being an origin story for Marc Spector).

We'll keep you updated, but for now, check out Isaac's comments in full below:

This is probably my most anticipated MCU project. So excited to see Isaac and Hawke together. It's gonna be a blast.

I f*cking love Oscar Isaac, i know very little of Moon Knight and i just...i mean, i dunno, we'll see, although i'm super excited about this show, i wish he landed on a different and perhaps bigger role in the MCU.

The good thing is that nowdays they have no problem double dipping their actors, soooo fingers crossed!

@Doomsday8888 - yeah but you can’t double dip him in any bigger role because of his face so he’d have to sign up for an Apocalypse 2.0 makeup nightmare situation and he won’t do it. This is his MCU role

Would be extremely happy if this is daredevil level good

ok ok stop, I hope that at some point in the series we have "random bulshit go", that would make me so happy

@Fanmar16 - I think "Moon-knight Core", a Moon-knight meme page on facebook made that. It's not in any Marvel comics.

Big Marvel fan but I never read Moon Knight comics.

@DoubleD - Me neither. But I did read them, when I heard that series would be coming up.
Likewise with Ms. Marvel and Hawkeye.
And damn, am I now a Fan of Moon-Knight and Ms. Marvel. And the Matt Fraction run of Hawkeye.

Has this had an official announcement of cast yet? I mean by now it’s not necessary but still peculiar

Exciting times! Never thought we'd have a point of the MCU where we have not just movies, but extremely relevant and embraced shows.

Thought we were getting somewhere with AOS and the Netflix shows...but obviously seems to make a difference when Disney/Marvel Studios themselves embrace these as part of the cannon and core roadmap.

I know they are onto something when a few of my in laws who don't watch the movies, and haven't been big on the shows suddenly decided to give a show like 'Loki' a chance and they loved it.

Can only imagine how much more the fandom will expand as they offer up more characters to follow. Truly like the comic books, you just buy the issues you want!

Great character, great actor. I can't wait to see how they handle Moon knight in the MCU.

Fantastic cast - potentially solid project.

But they're wise to the fact that the 'hate' will vent with the first shot of the Moon Knight costume.

Fingers crossed.

I think this will be a surprise. It’s pretty low on my hype list which makes me think it’s gonna come in hot! Isaacs is great. Ex Machina is my favorite role he’s done so far. The major movies have done him wrong thus far with Star Wars and X-Men. Here’s hoping!

Let's hope he fights a male villain because so far the Disney Plus shows have pretty much gone the route of female villains.

Flag Smasher-Falcon And The Winter Soldier
Renslayer and Sylvie(sort of)-Loki
Agatha Harkness-WandaVision

@marvel72 - Agatha and Renslayer were pretty good though, and the main villain of Loki was male.

@soberchimera - Yeah but Sylvie did fight Loki and did kill he still remains, where Loki would let him live.

She never was "the villain". It was always the TVA. They just painted her as a villain.
Renslayer wasn't a villain either, she's just a small cog in the machine.
Aaand I would argue the biggest villains in FatWS weren't the Flagsmashers...
marvel72
marvel72 - 7/25/2021, 6:23 PM
@CapObvious - The Flag Smashers were terrorists,No the real villains were the writers and directors,Baron Zemo was treated like a joke,he wore the mask for less than five minutes and nothing worthy of his villain status, when your highlight of the show is a dance, you need to sack the writers.
