Marvel Studios has released a new behind-the-scenes featurette for WandaVision, and the short video may have given away plans for the MCU debut of a major character from the comics.

It's a blink-and-you'll-miss-it shot, but when the camera cuts to head writer Jac Schaeffer, what appears to be some concept art featuring Wonder Man can be seen on the wall to the right of the screen.

In the comics, Simon Williams had a strong connection to both Scarlet Witch and Vision. The former villain's brain waves were used to create the android's consciousness (J.A.R.V.I.S. took on that role in Avengers: Age of Ultron), and he ended up falling in love with Wanda, who used her powers to resurrect him after he fell in battle.

This artwork doesn't necessarily mean that Wonder Man will be introduced during this first season of WandaVision, of course, but it does seem to suggest that there are plans in place for the character in the MCU.

I thought Nathan Fillion was Wonder Man. I coulda swore it was teased in Guaduans 2.

Hmm. I just don't know if they would let a reveal slip in the background like that.

@GoldGuy -
I mean, they showed Wanda and Vision hovering seemingly about to fight each other in the present day setting at the end of this teaser. We also saw an episode focusing around Wanda seemingly completely alone

@Scarilian - they’re facing each other while flying in their living room, but I don’t know that they’re about to fight. It’s definitely not in the present day, though... that set is based on “Family Ties” which would place it in the 80’s.

@Chewtoy -
Ah, probably a floating dance scene to 'Time Of My Life' then

Perhaps he’ll be a new love interest for Wanda. I mean I don’t entirely understand what is happening in the series but we know that Vision is dead and maybe when she snaps out of it and everything and one that isn’t real disappears including her love then maybe Wonder Man will serve as Wanda’s new bo.
