It was reported that they finished filming months ago. Had a big rooftop putt-putt golf wrap party and everything.

"The only reason that could change is because Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has been pushed into 2022, and Marvel Studios may not want there to be such a big gap between the TV series and movie."

Yeah, I'm glad I'm not Marvel right now having to decide this. WandaVision was supposed to come out months before Dr. Strange 2 and now if it comes out in December, it will be a year and a half from Multiverse of Madness. Will such a gap kill momentum to see what happens to Wanda next? If they have a finished show, will Disney+ want it as soon as possible with so few original shows? Were they always planning on a Season 2 or is this a one-off? If there was a Season 2 planned to come after Dr. Strange, what now? Again, glad I am not making these decisions.

@DalekCraigWasson - A near-two year gap is far from ideal, but after Derrickson quit, Strange was getting delayed with or without COVID-19. So they were always going to have to make this choice. At the end of the day, Disney+ is starved for new content and I'm not even sure if contractually they'd be able to just sit on a finished series (That also raises the odds of leaks). So my money is on us getting it as scheduled.

@DalekCraigWasson -
From what I understand this is probably a one off. As of right now Vision is dead. Does he get rebuilt in Wakanda without the stone? Is this a figment of Wanda's imagination? What's up with the kids, which is kind of difficult to get robot jizz to fertillize a human egg. How do you follow this up with a second act?

This will be a great opportunity to utilize Elizabeth Olsen's range.

@WakandanQueen - At least she should have an opportunity to drop that awful Eastern European accent.

I wouldn't be surprised if they start delaying the tv shows one slot down the slate too. Any case, I'm really interested where this show is gonna take us

I certainly hope Disney can get this together before too long. To think I seriously considered dropping Netflix in favor of Disney when i first heard about their line up of programming. Turns out Netflix kicked into overdrive and became essential programming this year. Disney...not so much.

If the cliffhanger is so good and the pay off in Doctor Strange 2 is so tantalizing If the cliffhanger is so good and the pay off in Doctor Strange to is so tantalizing...Maybe it could work.
