A full teaser trailer should be on the way soon, but for now we have a first look at some footage from upcoming Netflix action thriller Gunpowder Milkshake.

Directed by Israeli filmmaker Navot Papushado (Rabies, Big Bad Wolves), the movie stars Karen Gillan (Guardians of the Galaxy, Jumanji) as lethal hit-woman named Sam who reunites with her mother Scarlet (Game of Thrones alum Lena Headey) 15 years after she abandoned her child in order to protect her from a ruthless crime organization known as The Firm.

According to the synopsis, "when a high-risk job goes wrong, Sam must choose between serving The Firm and protecting the life of an innocent 8-year-old girl – Emily (Chloe Coleman). With a target on her back, Sam has only one chance to survive: reunite with her mother and her lethal associates The Librarians (Bassett, Yeoh and Gugino)."

The video only feature a few brief shots, but we so get to see Sam, Scarlet and several other characters in action. Check it out below along with a pair of promo posters.

Looks like it could be fun. It also looks like it could be completely cheesy if it's handled wrong too.

Still going to watch though.

Terrific cast. Not expecting anything deep but it should be fun.

Hard to tell anything from that teaser. But something about Netflix’s original movies or expensive shots in their shows just looks so cheap sometimes. Just bad green screen, the Umbrella Academy suffers from it ocassionally.

Sold on this by the cast alone. Would I pay to watch it on the big screen? Maybe. Will I watch it on Netflix at home? 100%.

Premise doesn't sound all that special, but might just give this a chance anyway because of the cast and because I have Netflix
